With the 13th volume of the light novels a new season got green-lit from the same studio that did the first season.

First Hyakka Ryouran and now this. Good times for boobie lovers.

I'm cool with this. Issei and his Hand of Ankh are welcome back.

Just hope they won't fit side stories again like they did in the first season.

Also:

I don't see the problem if they do. Side stories are still stories, and still expand the world and the characters. Not to mention that stories need breathing room every once in a while.

Good after the Raiser arc is when Highschool DXD story starts getting good, Frist episode will probably be Xenovia and Irina showing up.

Well, I guess I just found another thing to look forward to in 2013. :)

The first season was fun. Hoping this will be as well.

Another thing I add to prepare for next year ! I thought the first season is quite enjoyable, but as Newhope said, this new arc is when the show will start getting interesting.

YES! Finally! The first season was so much fun to watch, and I'm always ready for more Akeno.

Still have yet to see the first season (I have the episodes, just not the time to watch them...), but this already on my must-watch list for whichever season it comes out during

the sales of first season must be pretty good for it to have a second season fast and there is even a hyakka hyouran season 2.

What's with the change of pace for the anime in Japan? the irony of it is that this kind of change happen after some Ishihara do his crazy stuff.

Nah I think it's the third best selling show, pretty sure Inu Boku sold more than it. Though I don't count Nise personally as it was ALWAYS gonna get bloody high sales no matter what so I guess DxD is second.

And man am I excite for a second season. Been hearing good things from the light novel about the coming events and can't wait to see them unfold.

Interesting, the first season was decent compared to what I've seen, but that only contain the first two volumes. This season is going to be better I know it.

Can't really say I'm surprised at this happening or how quick its happening. Those Blu Rays sold like hot cakes. Hope we get some Akeno development this season.
