It's finally here! After so many rumors! And on top of that, even a new game! It's been a while since I've actually gotten happy over a new anime announcement!
To be honest, I'm not expecting anything good though, at the most, an advertisement for the game. Happy for Marvelous Entertainment though! Here comes 100,000 in total sales!

This is the supposed staff, so far, but I don't recall a source other than this "leak", so take it with a pinch of doubt.

I know there is going to be a sequel for the 3DS but this is an anime announcement, seperate from the game.

I heard about the games, although I haven't played them. Seeing them, though, I don't know if this is a surprise or if it isn't :heh:. I'm hoping it's good, though. Looking forward to more details.

I'm pleased since I can't play this game because of region lock and I'm never against well-endowed kunoichi series :p
This staff looks coherent since Artland did the opening and Takashi Torii was the animation director. However as you said it could be speculation since there're no source.

Very excited for this. I hope there won't be a male lead so it turns out to be a harem. An all-girls show with lots of fighting would be pretty awesome for me. ^^

Well you struck a gold mine then, the only male character of importance is the teacher Kiriya and he is 40 years old.

But he is a bishonen :D, btw, I wouldn't be surprised if the studio creates a main male character, you know for the public's self-projection's sake, I don't mind as long as isn't some worthless male like Natsuru or Ichika.

what's the story about? I don't see any info about the series. The strip battle at the end reminds me of the past all girls battle it all out type -_- watch list

Huh, I've just put 2 and 2 together and found out that the manga I had read before is based on the 3DS game.
Have no idea how that slipped my mind but then I haven't payed much attention to the game as I don't see it getting a english release.

Well anyway looking forward to this, should be good fun at the least.
Plus all the girls seem rather very likable from what I've seen.

As far as I can tell, is there a manga thread for this series yet? If not, I can make it if that's ok with you guys, so far, only the teacher seems to be the only male character of importance. So yeah, girl power ftw.

Anime character designs released, but mm... Well, very normal. For better or for worse, very normal.

for better, stuff like sekirei/queen's blade with exagerated bodies loses some sexiness.

At least we know that their chests burst with kindness and a heart of justice.

Well, the character design looks decent at least. Now waiting for the PV to decide whether to add it to my list or not.

I think it depends on the class, style, or weapon of preference they/the samurai are comfortable with.

Based for what I saw in this PV, it looks like Takao Yoshioka will compose the script and and Artland is animating it with Takashi Watanabe as the director.

Apparently they are! According to Wikipedia (lol unreliable, but whatever), in semi-recent times they produced Demon King Daimao in 2010, Tytania in 2008/09, Hakushaku to Yōsei in 2008 and Hitman Reborn from 2006 to 2010. Never heard of any of them except for Hitman Reborn.

I do remember Artland producing epics like Legend of the Galatic Heroes, Mushishi and my personal favourite shojo of all time, Bokura ga Ita. They also completely butchered the second season of another top favourite of mine Gunslinger girl :heh: (First season was by Madhouse).

So uh. Good to see them back?

That's not at all surprising. It was announced like a few months ago.

I'm fangasming that Kobayashi Yu is in this. Her role as Futayo has made me a huge fan of hers.

Katsuragi's seiyuu is definitely the right pick for the character. I really like this decision considering that the said character is my favourite in the series.

Yuki Iguchi as Hibari is also a great pick if you take in the character's clumsy, stubborn, and childlike demeanor and she's great at portraying that.

I'm very pleased with the casting this is going to be awesome!:)

You can just go to the game website or wiki though, because I doubt there are any voice actor changes, even though the other characters are not officially announced through the anime yet.

I don't know how much character introduction is considered spoiler, so I'll wait for the anime to announce the rest of the cast though.
