It's not much of a news that there is going to be a sequel to the Rosario to Vampire, but yeah... there is going to be a sequel. Gonzo should be the animation production in charge for the sequel as well even though there is yet to be an official confirmation. The main cast will remain the same. All other information are forthcoming which I'll share with you once they are known, so feel free to share. :) Any newcomers to this series should checkout the opening post for the first season of Rosario to Vampire by Jul10.

Kudos to monir for opening this. Time to speculate how much more Gonzo is going to butcher the series.

Same appreciation as everyone else, good job Monir on opening this thread. Hopefully there will be less whining for the second season but that wishful thinking.

We know that a 2nd season is coming. What I (we?) didn't expect that the mod opening the thread is monir.

I believe the 2nd season is starting in october, close to Halloween. Man, as a big fan of the manga, I'm so looking forward to this.

i wonder if the producers will actual try to make the story make sense this time. but not like i care, the ecchiness is good enough for me

Noooooo! :uhoh: Okay.. yes. :D Actually, I watch everything. I even sat through a couple of episodes of a particular Mahou Shoujo series despite my full awareness of the imminent after affect that I would have to endure. Sweet times, those were. :D

Looking forward to these new season and Gonzo in the mix of it.

I thought the first season was pretty good overall, so I'll check out the second one. I can always go for some more comedy stuff. :heh:

Hope they balance in the 2nd season the action and fanservice.

Hopefully, the animators will get Mizuki-san to say something else, other than "Know your place!" XD

Well the manga is quite popular and the last few chapters in the manga are very ecchi. LOL :heh: So I still expect the ecchi level to be the same in season2, but I am expecting the level of the action and animation to be better also.

Also hope they follow it more like in the manga. Since all the girls are complete now in the anime(which they where introduced almost every episode) and unlike the manga it took alot of time before the girls are complete...no let me re-phrase that "BEFORE Tsukune's harem was complete." :heh:

i'm still amazed at kanokon for surpassing itself in that department every two episodes.
i would really doubt that a normal human director(like the one directing rosario) will be able to top that XD

To top all the fan service animes R+V would need to release the true nature of the Youkai's like in the last few chapters on the manga. Very ECCHI!!!

The first preview for Capu2 went up at the website. No info on who plays Kokoa yet, but Tsukune got a handful of her in the promo.

I didn't like the first season. I HATED the fanservice. I can't say I'm expecting a good series.

Well, what brought me to hate the show wasn't the quantity of the pantieshots, but their quality; impossible pantieshots from impossible angles.

isn't trying to do the impossible the wish of every man? :p

gonna have to agree, season 1 i couldn't even finish as i found it lacking in everything other then boobies and panties.

honestly i'm surprised it was popular enough to warrent a 2nd season as pretty much everyone i know in RL hated this season 1 anime series even the manga fans.

I also didn't finish season 1 due to it butchering the manga, will give season 2 a chance though for an ep or 2.

Amazingly enough R+V is the only Gonzo tv series to sell over 5000 dvds for a volume in the last 4 years.

If done properly, I won't complain. Hellsing Ultimate: Nuff said.

I think your gonna be disappointed because in the preview panty shots are flying around and the groping. I think it'll be a hybird of fanservice and story. Many like the action in R+V manga especially Tsukune.

Also one reason why season1 was manga butchered is the other girls where introduced late in the manga and ironically the popular one was VERY late so they rushed the episodes. Whats R+V when the cast is not full of cute youkai girls? :heh:
