Maybe, just try it.

I finished Volume 7 and she's cute when she was shocked Hiyori discovered her secret.

So you bought it online...or something?

bhl88 2010-11-17 12:33

I bought it in PMX when I couldn't wait for my Amazon order.

I can't count on Tsukasa to go to a handshake event.

Spoiler for funny part:

Damn. Just found out there were 3 special covers for volume 8--One from Animate, one from Gamers, one from Comptiq. Pic at this guy's blog. I think I need to plan a trip to Japan coinciding with LS 9's release :(

I like the haruhi cosplay one.

I find volume 7 very confusing. I mean, volume 6's non chronological order was bad enough, but in 7... Is it an alternate universe where Patty goes to Japan one year later?

I have just one question since I haven't read all the Lucky Star manga yet but what vol and ch in the manga does the anime end at? Or does the anime and manga break off at some point?

I asked the same question once. Based on what I read, the manga adapted ended at Volume 3~4, although a part in Volume 5 was adapted to anime (or was that the opposite? =P) [The Kanata ghost visit]

Its probably easier to say there are a lot of sketches used out of the first few volumes but there is also a lot of "anime-original" material. I wouldn't worry about it - its a 4-koma comic strip, not exactly heavy reading if you happen to see something you saw in the anime. It'll be out of order sometimes and there will many bits skipped in the anime. They do that for comic flow and to create a marginally coherent episode.

Okay thanks. I was not really concerned about how it would read out I just had a question if the two mediums separated. As I think in the anime they appeared on the verge of graduation and it appears the manga continues on.

Yeah...KyoAni made Lucky Star anime a pushover :heh:

bhl88 2011-01-17 11:42

Lucky Star Comic ala Carte (for those waiting for other volumes)... or side stories...

Kagami accidentally mixed some parts of the yaoi book with the history book she's reading :heh: (quite funny... or rather... I LOLed)

btw.... did they license Lucky Star Comic ala Carte?

ronelm2000 2011-02-08 01:08

I don't know...maybe not.

Anyway...

------------

On other news, LS manga Volume 2 reached $666.21

Would it be wierd to say: Dat ass?

DustHalls 2015-05-28 21:10

I've been thinking of buying the 3 Lucky Star Light Novels spin-offs, but I'm worried they might be too different from the main series to bother with them. Has anyone here read them? How are they in terms of comedy and character interactions as compared to the main series?
