yay, finally...

favorite character since the show started. I love everything about Manami: her "average" looks, her supportive role, her different interactions with Kyo. I enjoy every moment she appears on screen; and even when she doesn't, I sort of miss her.

Being in the friendzone sucks....

Mine too, specially her voice and her "healer/living stress ball" role in the anime/manga/novel

I love every moment she appears too. Glad she got Promoted To Opening Title :D

Manami definitely gives this series' Refreshing Meter a +30. Helps keep Kyousuke from bursting various blood vessels.

Hopefully she'll stay that way. Can't have her interfering with the actual interesting main relationship.

She's just the normal "girl next door" (is that the right use for that phrase?), other than her cuteness she doesn't really have any defining features, but she's kind and understanding while also having an awesome family.

This is our sanctuary. We shall not be ignored, brothers. Say no to wincest!

I actually saw a few of your posters around saying "Say yes to Manami and Kyousuke!" :heh: but Manami does bring a refreshing relief to me thinking this series will not be entirely focused on wincest between Kirino and Kyousuke. They may add "some" twists to the relationship to what we expect, so we better keep on our toes.

Wonder what does Manami needs to be more cute a get noticed by Kyou, a new Haircut, no glasses, some make up, a shorter skirt? lol

She would have to keep the glasses, I won't ever say no to a lass with glasses:p
I wouldn't mind seeing Manami with slightler longer hair, I think shoulder length should look good on her.
She's cute as she is but I'll always prefer a girl with longer hair.

What I love about Manami is how she simple is, she is shy but also able to joke with Kyousuke.

Favorite moment so far was when she shouts for her grandma about Kyousuke wanting to bath together, something very charming about that little moment:D

Cute girls get nervous at the mention of physical intimacy. And for that, Manami wins. Good grandparents tell cute girls to go for it. And for that, Manami's grandparents win.

I feel bad for the plain girl seeing how many people spell her name wrong...

I thought wincest is evolve from the term twincest? It's just incest in this case, right?


Yeah we definitely can organize a little anti-incest (aka KyouxKirino) group around here. I like Kirino as a character and i don't really mind if they head down that road. But the problem is: to say the truth, her relationship to her brother (if ever turn romantic) is absolutely forced by this point. I thought it was the director fault, but just look at how well done ep 6 with Manami is. That's why i suspect: since the tittle of this anime was targeting a certain demographic group, therefore they forcefully put up hints and incest fan-service just to satisfy them.

When Kyousuke fall down to the futon with Manami, why didn't he accident grope her chests or explore her panties, or well.... touch her "other" private place and she start to moan out loud, and he was so shocked that he was freezed at the spot until gramma comes up and thought they are doing something perverted...? Because it's clearly unnatural so. Minami's simply just embarrassed hugging over Kuousuke without causing much fuss. That's how it should be

I means her cuteness is a reason, but i love Minami, because the way she positioned herself in front of him (when gave him cake) and started to say whatever come to her mind to keep him staying over, and teased him and then started to panicky run away screaming for advices from her grandma... you really can grab the nature of their relationships. Her "plain miso soup" attitude is 10x more interesting to watch than the forced drama last episode (which back then i constantly hope they will play the ED already)

Manami is so cute, more like a puppy instead of a obasan, haha.

new hair cut - it's not bad. Adding a pony tail (or twin tails) would be nice.
no glasses - glasses don't really matter, as long as they're not ugly horn-rimmed stuff or something
make up - hell no. Make up is something for circus clowns, and that's it :heh:
shorter skirt - can't go wrong with that one :D
