Ep.12:

- After running from the club Kodaka spends his time helping the student council with some stuff with hilarity ensues and some ecchi when Kodaka finds the girls changing clothes.
- Well, Yukimura got some screen time which shows her on a moe/cute fashion enough to make people go NNGGHH.
- And finally, Rika show she's got steel balls, curbstomping Kodaka to force him acept such obvious fact that he has friends, etc.

- Guys, you will never now the answer to Sena's confession :heh:.

- On the other hand Yozora's suffering doesn't seems to has basis so its pointless leaving just like that.

At the end, isn't a true friend someone who points out your weak points and even sacrifices their own interest/happines for other's sake?

Let go past, face the present, look towards the future.

Be happy Kodaka, you have a true friend in Rika.

So, implied Sena end... fine by me. Yozora probably will win in LN.

i believe who not yet the "end" for what we have in LN we still have a chance of a third season maybe in ova format like nogizaka where the end come in 4 ovas.
a 4 to 6 ovas ending to cover volume 9 and maybe the 10(if ending in 10 or 11).

Did Koudaka just ahve an epic battle on a roof, against Rika, who was using remote controlled steel spheres?

THE HELL?!!!

Also, Aoi is adorable.

Also, now I'm 200% on Rika's side.

Entravity 2013-03-28 18:10

Lol that battle. Well, I'm waiting for more cause nothing is really answered in this episode. My weekly dose... :(

*Sigh* An entertaining episode, which was better than season 1 last episode. However, both seasons' last episodes feel a little weak compared to the normal episodes during the season.

A very telling point was when the Student Council President, Hinata, said that only fools judge others by their appearance. That could be an indirect dig at Yozora, who pretty much judged Hinata without knowing her. She actually seemed like a great person, and a harem is waiting for Kodaka in the Student Council if he wishes for it.

A lot of things are still unknown. At least Rika has made Kodaka admit that he has friends. However, that seemed to depress Yozora for some reason. Also, the ending credits when childhood Yozora transformed to present day Rika has so many hidden messages in it. Does that mean that Rika has replaced Yozora as Kodaka's close friend? If so, then that could be the reason why Yozora left.

Yuki will be Yuki. She is just the most awesome, maniliest character in the show.

As for Sena, she really did not have much in the episode. The ending scene with Sena and Kodaka did not say much, but it felt as if Kodaka showed some affection in the scene. It really is hard to interpret unless they say things outright.

Overall, a very okay ending episode to another great season.

DragoonKain3 2013-03-28 18:57

Man, I feel so bad for Yozora. EVERYTHING was take away from her in regards to Kodaka. Sena stole the first osananajimi spot from her, and now Rika stole the tomodachi part too (heck maybe even the shinyuu part as well).

Makes me want her to at least get SOMETHING, but what's left? The koibito part? I don't know how well that would work... but yeah, I want to know what happense next. Anyone know when Haganai FINAL gonna be? Because to be honest, this second series has too much of a cliffhanger ending; unlike last season, there's no sense of closure at all. :(

But yeah, hands off Hinata, Mister Kodaka, as she's mai waifu. I knew I recognized the voice, and it's none other than Hikasa Youko. :D

Can anyone offer some info on the light novels? If I wanted to start reading where the anime just left off which vol/chapter should I start at?

Scrya 2013-03-28 19:08

So if I'm understanding this correctly, Kodaka pretends to not notice his admirers because he doesn't want to destroy the club by going into a relationship with one of the members. Haganai got pretty meta, but I guess it takes a somewhat more realistic view on these harem situations. Even if he tries to keep everything neutral and in a harem state, eventually the situation will force him to make a decision. The obvious answer is to date someone outside the club, like Kate :P.

Also, is a third season confirmed already? Or did they have this cliffhanger ending to screw with us? It'd suck to have to wait another few seasons before we have a resolution. The series feels incomplete at this point.

bluesilo 2013-03-28 19:12

Ugh. What the heck was that? I would've liked to have some closure. Instead the entire episode focused on some semi-new characters and Rika for the most part. They need another season now.

it's something like that, kodaka have the issue to treasure the friendship to a point where is most important act like her dont happen and keep the things in secret than move on and risk lose everything, even if was clear who he not gonna lose(both rika and yukimura made clear who dont's matter if is a club or no what matter is the friendship) in the end he just a "coward" who prefer hurt the girls runing from then and raising new flags than accept the reality.

i believe who we gonna get another season or like a sai in previous post a "OVA season" like nogizaka with some ovas until the end of the LN, who for what looks senna gonna be the end girl,(please i dont want a ship war it's just what the vibs/hints are giving for now) while yozora will be the childhood friend, rika the new friend and yukimura being the helper friend.

again like was clear kodaka finally showing his true collors(coward weakling), i'm waiting who if we gonna get another season who on this time kodaka finally start to show his trueself to the others girls and give the answer who their want.
