The Disney/Pixar part is probably cause the Japanese studio that's doing this anime exports the 3D CGI work to the USA for Pixar to do, then taken back to Japan for the final cut.

the disney/pixar is definitely from the article above, the company/studio listed in that pic (below the large shot, left of the full shot) says "NAMCO Corporation Xenosaga Production Committee"

Looks awesome, can't wait, sure hope they;ll do good job on it like the games.

AWWWW although this is cool it should have been XENOGEARS that should that have been made a series.....is anyone with me because FEI FONG WONG would make a hell of a better LEADING charcter

does anyone agree that it should have been XENOGEARS insted ?? altho namco has the rights to this part of the XENO series ....the creator of it should have asked SQAURE - ENIX to make a xeno gears series .............personally XENOGEARS is WAYYYY better

This is going to be good if the follow the games! Man I loved watching the videos done by the guy who made the gameplay of the first xenosaga into somthing us that didnt play the game could watch.

This project has been in the works for a while now, although this is the first I've heard about the air date, which must mean that it's close to ready. This series was originally going to be just chapter 1, although that may now include the first two games of the series. If it does well, or at least, better than the games have been selling, then you might see the rest of the saga animated. Naturally, that's subject to the capricious whims of the TV studios, and even if it happens, Xenogears is chapter 5, so it will be years before they get there.

Nice! I loved the original game. Thought it had a really good story. Hoping they also stick to the game story line.

yeah Xenogears would be a million times cooler but Xenosaga is good awell, anything Xeno related is good!!!!

It would be interesting to see this anime since I have played the game. Wonder if the plot would be similar to the game or would vary in some way.
