Crap, I have a good idea for this one using Eureka 7, but I don't know whether I'll have the time to do it properly ;_; Since I want to use original art as much as possible, because I definitely don't want to use other peoples' art w/o permission and potentially win money (not that that'll happen, mind you). The setup's a bit complicated but I'm so glad there's a contest anyway, it was about time winter was changed :eyespin:

Any comments would be appreciated (especially choice of font since I'm so bad at picking a good one.)

^ The render looks a bit sharp compared to the rest of the banner.. maybe soften it up a bit? Font choice.. erm.. a bit too profesional looking, try softer, more kiddy looking to match the render? BG is excellent IMO..

Also this is a personal nitpick, the way render pose dont really matched the theme... her hands and face position looks like the camera is from the top, and your BG is sky .. so >.<

Yours is the only one so far that feels like "sky" to me, the others are "generic anime character in cloud background".

Of course by saying that I'll end up making one and being subjected to ruthless criticism :heh: I will completely deserve it though :D.

Kallen one: I'm with limited use of DECENT fonts. I used it because it closely resembles a vector style format and is traceable.

Ikki One: You expect there to be more with some guy falling out of the sky with a crow? :twitch:
