Fight-o, girls. I hate noise!

Nice and colorful, and not much else to comment on yet. Synopsis sounds pretty silly.

Superheroes and music?

Say no more!

TJR 2011-10-08 17:21

The creator of Wild Arms and the leader of Elements Garden? Interesting.

Kismet-chan 2011-10-08 18:06

So it's Vocaloid x Gunbuster x Macross? :heh:

Thomas Romain doesn't just work for satelight?

As for the project itself I might get interested if a good cast is announced.

MisaoFan 2011-10-09 02:10

The cast is comprised of Nana Mizuki, Minami Takayama, Aoi Yuki and Rie Kugimiya.

*sees blue haired girl*

*puts this in 'will check out definitely' list*

:uhoh:

Kameruka 2011-10-10 21:07

The title sound cheesier than matured Swiss cheese.

It seems Satelight is assisting with the animation.

Looks like a Powered Armor show only instead of a D-Boy we've got girls. Guess those days of Tek-Setter and Vol-Tekka really are over eh? No more hot-blooded screaming. Hopefully the characters can be suitably gar enough to give this show the lustre it seems to be asking for in that promo art, but it's kind of sounding like something far different than what I'd probably enjoy seeing. Idol girls that save the world by singing just doesn't have the same spark to me as powered armored girls that save the world with guts, courage and a righteous beat down.

The writers claim their inspiration is Haruhi Suzumiya, K-ON!, and Macross F, among others.

I like the girls holding hands in the website main image. Yuri googles...READY!

Yeah that's kind of what I was alluding too, though the whole thing with them being amateurs kind of makes it make a little more sense. They probably intend to draw from whatever has been popular recently, but I don't know if that'll make for a winning formula. Am I too understand that this is going to be more of the high school hijinks variety and less girls fighting in powered armor like it looked like. Wouldn't surprise me, but it would be yet another case of concept that looks mildly intriguing to me marred by playing it safe and doing the whole cute girls doing cute things in a high school setting. Hopefully not the case.

Also the whole writing a long story and then cutting and cramming it into 13 episodes in less than a week doesn't exactly inspire a whole lot of confidence. Why anyone would ever freely admit to doing something like that, even a rank amateur writing duo, I have no idea.

...Ew. I REALLY hope I don't see ANY remnants of either of those in this. I'd be fine with Macross F tones, though.

This. *also equips yuri goggles and crosses fingers* :>

tsunade666 2011-11-03 16:12

it looks like those girls holding hands are ordinary girls in my eyes so ordinary girls turn super idol and fighter girl. Pretty cure feeling >.> but all aboard on Yuri boat but maybe they are just friends so I will not assume yet.

darkchibi07 2011-11-03 16:34

Man, this is almost reminding me of those old Iczer OVAs.

Crimrui 2011-11-06 19:23

^ Except this probably won't be anything near depressing as that show. Looks more like happy-go- funny mixed with a lot of action kind of anime. And girls that go Tek-Set? Count me in.
