shino definatly would have passed if that other crap hadnt of happend and he knows it and also he didnt get to fight cause kankuro forfeighted or however thats spelled but there was always the next round naruto would have probably lost to shino unless he summoned gama oyaban and he ate all of shinos destruction bugs

no he wouldnt have. The bugs eat chakra. But they can't eat the chakra of the nine-tails.

Yeah, Shino seems like someone who's really got the whole thing together well. Always calm and cool, thinks out his strategies well ahead, and much more. Kinda like the genious shikamaru (sp?) who even though he's only really got one jutsu and is kinda weak, he's a freaking genious. And that counts for a lot. :) Plus if you look at Shino's dad, he's cool as all getout. Plus I didn't know one man could have THAT many bugs!! Sheesh. (points to gord)

took me a while to figure out who shino was :P lol but i sorta get the gist after i read u guys talking about the bugs etc...
but then... i think it's sorta impossible for him to have so many bugs... it wouldnt fit... honestly... even if he was EMPTY... finally... Naruto has sooo much chakra... i dont think it would be as "harmful" to him... |

man what are you talking about? naruto would have found a way to beat shino regardless. just like he did with kiba and the others. that's just the way the story goes

Well, people already said before. Shino is pretty much as strong as a Chuunin, that's why he calls himself a Chuunin.

Naruto is only a genius at using Kage Bunshin no Jutsu and praying the opponent gets fooled :heh:

the bugs feed off of shinos chakra not other peoples he aint gonna send them out to leech off of other people where did you guys get the idea that the bugs could eat narutos chakra

All I can say is after reading the manga chapter with Shino and Kankurou, it became apparent to me, they both would have become chuunin, for their awesome tactical abilities. And anyone who has read it will agree with me. Who cares if Naruto could beat him, because as you saw
