Freezing the anime

A anime adaptation of the manga/manhwa Freezing by author Dall-Young Lim & artist Kim Kwang Hyun has been announced!

Well I don't keep with the manga anymore, kinda spiralled off into the pooper for me with the exception of the artwork.

I won't expect much from this other than fan service, as the plot is rather thin.

would have rather prefered Legend of Maian anime.

but I'll just say it now, Bridget is mine!:D

Yeah me as well. Once they started getting into the whole eastern division business and away from the main chars, I lost interest. I couldn't even tell what was going on anymore =0\. Hopefully the anime will have more focus.

Oh, and Bridget is a slut (つ*,*)つ. Ranka was much better really.

Promotions HERE WE COME! At least with more exposure means more fanart

I've been planning to read the manga for a while now, though it seems like i might as well just wait for this adaptation. Good news.

PNGO 2010-07-27 20:56

YAY finally they start animating manhwas, now I'll wait for Veritas!!!

Ravenblitz 2010-07-27 20:58

whoa Freezing animated! good news can't wait for this

Satellizer <3

Well, here's hoping that they do a good job of adapting the original material. It shouldn't be a problem since the overall premise of the manhwa is formulaic enough, unlike say... Kurokami, which has changes that ended up being a hit or a miss to some people.

There are bound to be differences in the anime version of Freezing though, especially in terms of plot, since the manhwa isn't nowhere near from being over.

Personally, I can't believe this series is getting adapted over Unbalance x Unbalance, considering the amount of chapters already available.

Westlo 2010-07-28 03:25

After Kurokami's flop I was worried we would never see another Dall-Young Lim manhwa animated (I really want a UxU anime) but thankfully that isn't the case. UxU aside I would've preferred Aflame Inferno or Onihime VS over this but I'll still check this out.

Angrypokstick 2010-07-28 11:16

I would be more stoked for Aflame inferno.... but thats just me.

Gehanas > Entire female cast of Freezing.

Amen to that!

They did have to go and pick the series that well doesn't really go anywhere other than some bitch fighting and melodrama/drama.

Anyone got any guesses on VAs?

At least Veritas has a coherent plot and great characters. Freezing is just all over the place and really generic. I love the art, but it could be so much better than it is.

WTB anime for Id. Now that would be epic.

karuroso 2010-07-30 12:11

I just hope the studio responsible for this do an somewhat decent ending like the one for Kurokami...

Westlo 2010-08-13 11:23

So it's confirmed for Spring 2011 and a PV got shown.

Looks good! Who's animating this?

Suzuku 2010-08-13 11:37

Production quality looks amazing. I'm hoping it's 2-cour and covers volumes 1-7 of the manga.

MrTerrorist 2010-08-13 12:05

According to ANN, it's Media Factory.

Agreed. Satellizer is really the only reason to read Freezing.

Then again,

Suzuku 2010-08-13 12:18

Onihime VS doesn't really have enough content for an anime but Aflame Inferno would be awesome, better than Freezing imo. I want UxU to get anime adaptation after it ends since it's pretty close and it comes ff of hiatus in three months.

Bonta Kun 2010-08-13 13:50

I guess it looks not bad at all, should be easy on the eyes.
If theres anything to gleam from it I'd say "nice service d(^_^)b"

but yea I'm still holding out on my ID anime as well, by far the best manhwa I've read. Id is <3:D
