Quote:

On Astraea Hill, there are three girl schools; St. Miatre Academy, St. Spica Academy, and St. Le Rim Academy. In the corner of the site, there stands their common boarding house, “Ichigo-Sha”.

Astraea Hill - it is a sacred place where men cannot enter...

Aoi Nagisa transferred to the 4th grade of St. Miatre Academy by some reason. On the very first day, she met “Etoile”, Hanazono Shizuma. Etoile is the leader of the whole students of the tree schools, and she was a girl of admiration. She has a large power and trust, at the same time, she must shoulder heavy responsibility and duty proportional to her power. Nagisa was fascinated by Sizuma’s beauty and she was frozen. On the other hand, looking into Nagisa’s face gently, Sizuma put her arms around Nagaisa’s shoulders and her face was approaching to Nagisa’s face...
Genre: Seinen, Drama, Romance, Yuri

Men cannot enter :D yes finally a real yuri anime/novel/manga for guys :D :D :D

This is a yuri anime/novel/manga for male audience.

Is that synopsis correct? Because if it is, and this is yuricest between fourth graders, then you may want to edit your post to say "This is a yuri manga for a pedophilic male audience."

Though I do like the picture Ialdaboth posted; character designs are nice, and I like the detail given to the stained glass background. This sort of feels similar to Maria-sama ga Miteru though.

According to the couples page, they don't all look like 4th graders. More probably there are characters from all ages and all types of background, so that the novel would cater to most tastes.

Well, as Ialdaboth said, check the couples page.

This is great :) more male-oriented yuri novel/manga/games are getting animated :)

These are male oriented yuri anime:

for now:
Kannaduki no Miko (a shounen manga, serialized in the shounen manga magazine Shounen Ace)
Yamibou (based on a bsihoujo game)
HEN (a seinen manga, serialized in a seinen magazine)

In the near/far future:
Kashimashi ~Girl Meets Girl~ (a seinen(young men's) manga, serialized in the seinen manga magazine Dengeki Daioh)
Otome wa Boku ni Koishiteru (based on a bishoujo game)
Strawberry Panic! (based on a bishoujo novel/manga, bishoujo anime/manga/novels/games are targeted at male-audience)

Ahh and yeah I edited my post to:

"This is a yuri anime/novel/manga for male audience."

I have been looking for it myself with no success :(

So I went to Dengeki G's Magazine site just to be sure that the manga exists, and it does :) , the manga is listed under G's Selection Comic in this site: http://www.mediaworks.co.jp/magazine/game/gsm.php

I'm so hoping some group will scanlate it >.<

shadowplay 2006-01-08 12:57

Looks good to me :)
Just wondering what sort of funny names we'll have next - "Pineapple Parade"? "Positive Peaches"? "Purty Papaya People"? :D Gotta love it...

NeoSam 2006-01-28 15:50

According to MoonPhase its starting in April 2006 :D

Moe~ yuri anime :D

Kaoru Chujo 2006-01-31 21:17

Looks delicious. The official site still says the cast is not determined, but I have heard Nakahara Mai and Shimizu Ai doing a "Dengeki G's Magazine Radio" show about it, taking on character voices. Those would be two good names to include in the cast, which will clearly be enormous, since there are so many "couplings" (that English word is used on the official site). In that way, it reminds me of Futakoi, which was another Dengeki-MediaWorks product. I hope and trust it will be more ambitious than that anime was.

Gokigenyo!

A japanese fanboy fantasy is to turn into a girl LOL :heh:

Anyway I'm sure many have heard of this its called diversity :P there are plenty of manga out there, yes you'll even find male oriented manga that has serious yuri relationship/relationships in them, but not many of these manga get animated, and those that get animated don't get treated well (HEN for example (a seinen manga)).

A more serious male oriented yuri manga is getting animated this year: Strawberry Panic! (serialized in Dengeki G's Magazine (a magazine for male otakus))

Is someone going to say that Strawberry Panic! is a serious male oriented yuri manga? probably not, if its not "common japanese fanboy fantasy since they can't stand the idea of an actual lesbian romance" they will claim stuff: "it can't be for guys its so sh**j*"

These guys that like to claim stuff, when the time comes are probably going to get flamed by me.

Yeah, if its a serious yuri manga they will claim its sh**j* and when it has fanservice or the guy turns into a girl its "common japanese fanboy fantasy since they can't stand the idea of an actual lesbian romance"

The above quote is taken from another unrelated thread, and posted here just in case (in case of what? you'll know later when (or if) I start flaming someone)

Strawberry Panic! is a novel/manga/anime for male audience.

Strawberry Panic is a yuri promised to girls... so I really don't think that Strawberry Panic is for male audience...

Strawberry Panic was serialized in Dengeki G. It's a bishoujo magazine. Intended for a male audience.

Maria-sama ga miteru was prepublished in Cobalt magazine, which publish romance novels for teen girls.

You are a girl, a guy, an animal, I don't care what you are.

Strawberry Panic! novel is for male audience
Strawberry Panic! manga is for male audience
Strawberry Panic! anime is for male audience

Whatever the content of Strawberry Panic! is, its intended for male audience.

And FYI Kannaduki no Miko manga and anime are also aimed at male audience.

You can make the words as big as you want, that will change nothing, Strawberry Panic! is serialized in a magazine aimed at male audience, and it is targeted at male audience.
