At least this couple looks like they may have their act together from the covers. Though, she could have had a better school uniform. It doesn't look very practical for fighting to me.

The author of the light novel is sick and getting medical treatment, thats why the light novel has stopped on volume 6.

Volume 6 (the latest volume available) got released on 20/10/2005.

Next issue of Dragon Magazine (a young men's novel magazine) will have some type of special in it (at least thats what I understood :P ).

I like the look of it =) The art is Great! Though still like anything I'm not going to get my hopes up to much, but I'll keep a eye out and see what the pre-view shows the anime to be like.Same here, the characters on the cover looks nice but the anime design most likey will be different.. though I hope they will look just as good. Still about that.. The Person in charge of the character designs is Yasunari NITTA, who did the Canvas 2 Character designs, which I liked.. but going from the art of the cover I was thinking something different then Canvas 2.

From what I Gather, the Story is about the Guy, who got kicked out of his fire Clan because he had no talent. 4 years down the road he comes back to Japan and has power to manipulate the wind, and on his return to japan he is a Suspect in a murder. At least that what I got from crappy online translations... >.>

Hopefully they will get the art of the show as good as the illustrations in the light novels are. nah, what am I saying :rolleyes: , they won't be able to reach that level, but I'm still hoping they won't ruin it, the author is sick after all, have some sympathy GONZO >.<

I want something among the lines of Shakugan no SHANA quality of animation >.< I'm not asking for Kyoto Animation super high quality >.<

The guy who did the character designs of Maburaho (another shounen light novel from Fujimi Fantasia Bunko label) >.<

Kaze no Stigma is a lil' gem i've been keeping an eye on for some time now, and believe me - it might look like it, but its nothing like Shakugan no Shana. The anime shall be interesting.. though it'll fail in the art department. Its GONZO.. so they'll change it to how they see fit.

I can so imagine a perfectly musical score for this one.. hope i don't get to lost in that thought. ^^;;

Hmm... it seems there was a manga of this too, but it was only a one shot manga (it got published in October 2004 issue of the shounen manga magazine Dragon AGE). well, there is now a bigger chance for a real manga after the announcement of the anime ^_^

The character is voiced by Daisuke Ono who acted for Sven Carl Bayan in Gundam Stargazer, Yukito Kunisaki in AIR,Itsuki Koizumi in Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya, Mabashi in Bleach, and Enju from Rozen Maiden.

He is a new and very cool voice actor, judging from this, i think the anime is really going to be good.
