I would consider this a suggestion because im looking for a romance anime but im not exactly a expert on genres so im asking your honest opinion of romance animes that you think i would like by the animes i have watched

Your definition on "romance" seems very very broad, I wouldn't count over half of the Anime you listed as romance Anime. But to each their own.

Don't know if you watched them yet, I kinda think so, but the two elephants in the room clearly are Toradora and Clannad. Personally I prefer the former one by a lot.

Also, since someone else suggested it to me, you might check out Rec. It's really adorable and touching, although it's kinda short. Probably among my favorite romance Anime.
If you're into Yuri/Incest (how could one not be?) you could try Candy Boy as well, again, really adorable and simply lovely.

Going from your list you might enjoy Asobi ni iku yo as well. Great seiyu cast, but I wouldn't really call it a romance Anime.

I don't know if you've seen and forgot to add them to your list, but here it goes.

Ahem:

Why don't you give Durarara and Kimikiss Pure Rouge a shot if you're interested.

Maison Ikkoku is noticeably missing. Best romance anime ever.

You are also missing Kimagure Orange Road, another famous romance anime.

Moving on to more modern anime Clannad is a big absence from your list.

And you've got to watch something from Adachi, either Touch or Cross Game.

Others missing are Kimi Ni Todoke, Toradora, Honey and Clover, and Crest of the Stars.

You don't even have Love Hina or Tenchi Muyo.

Yeah im sorta new to anime :heh: i sorta stumbled onto girls bravo decided to watch it and have been watching anime ever since. Oh yeah thanks for all the titles i will make sure to watch them all :D

thank you mikejacobs for such a extensive list but why didnt you like this ugly yet beautiful world or gift eternal rainbow? i watched both of them and thought that the first one i mentioned was pretty good but i have to admit i only got to episode 9 on Gift :heh:

Regardless, you need to finish Gift regardless of mike's bashful opinion on it.

I'll be a little selfish here since you're sort of asking for *my* favorite romance anime. :D

Kimi ga Nozomu Eien: Excellent anime that sidesteps the highschool romance cliché. While the relationships starts in high school, it goes beyond that. It has a general theme of "friendship" which I though is very cool.

ef - a tale of memories: Masterpiece. Make sure to watch its sequel, ef - a tale of melodies.

Itazura na Kiss: I love this anime for its completeness. Half of the anime is about how the relationship starts until the couple gets together. Usually this is where most anime stops, but it further explores the romance by following those characters to college then into their professional careers. Despite its few flaws, it is overall probably my most nostalgic romance anime.

REC: This anime follows the life of a 20-year-old female protagonist who aspires to be a seiyuu. It's an excellent watch it you want a dose of realism--at least more realistic than typical highschool romance.

Hanbun no Tsuki ga Noboru Sora: Hospital romance anyone? It's actually somewhat funny for the serious atmosphere, but the 6 episode OVA is quite satisfying.

Hotarubi no Mori e: Beautiful. It's a slow-paced slice of life movie that I can't say more about because it will spoil you.

Acchi Kochi: If you're not into slice of life, then don't watch it. However, I'm also not into slice of life but I found this a nice watch. The innocent relationship between our two protagonists are just too cute to resist.

hello idk if i'm allowed but here is a short list of my favorite romance anime

rosario+vampire

darker than black.its truly a complex love,lust,dark and family tragity series

zombie high idk if its considerd romance but it was a post appocolyptic zombie series with love lust kinky bath scenes and was also kinda tragic at points

blood+ was a good one as well

blood trinity was alright but most of the love story set around the main char and 2 or 3 of his friends and also pretty actiony

there was another on it was girls somthing or other idr ill have to add to post but if you know it plz refresh my mem by posting the name. well it was about a 16 year old boy who was short and weak always picked on by girls,so he became affraid of them and broke out with a rash when they came into contact with him,somehow he went to another planet where less than 10% of the population was men and met a pink haired girl with 3 dots on her forehead.also the portal to the new planet was his bathtub. plz if you know what i amtalking about plz tell me the name it was a very good series

The forgotten anime you are talking about was Girls Bravo but I recommend DearS as well.

seconding Romeo x Juliet and Kimi Ni Todoke (gave me lots of mixed emotions) and also even tho REC is short it has fairly decent development

thank you thats it i knew it was girl something but girl bravo is it i appreciate you jogging my memory. there is allot of anime series's i have watched it is hard to remember them all but the next time i post i will post an extended view list for all that i have seen and give comments on the ones i liked i love all anime even the ones i didn't like for any small reason.and ill check out

Finished FMP Oh My God SO F***ing AWESOME i'm not really into mecha but this definitely changed my mind about that :eyespin:

watching durarra or however you spell it XP, all i can say is... interesting.....

Tried Karin Chibi Vampire, got to about episode 3 then lost interest

Next after clannad...... Tenchi Muyo! :D
