They're rather easy to come by (unlike the old FMP novels... :-( )

Amazon.com has them. Search "Haruhi Suzumiya" under Books, and they pop right up. They also have the manga, which is similarly named, and also under Books, so make sure you're getting the item you want. This is the list of novels. Note that Surprise, which is split into two novels in Japanese, is compiled back into one in English.

A full-proof way to get the right books is to go to wikipedia, copy the ISBN for the book and paste it on Amazon or BookDepository. It should take you right to the proper page:
