Let's see what kind of original anime scenes they give to Item.

I have been waiting for this moment since Railgun S was announced many months ago, let's see how will J.C. staff do this ep.

Finally I could see these scenes! I just loved this episode!!!!!

Haigon 2013-05-31 12:19

Isn't Saiai's voice too deep? I though that would be like Frenda's voice, maybe she will light the tone in Index III scenes.

Ep.8

Good and fun ep. I really like the voice acting for the new casts.

Spoiler for Ep.8 talk:

Spoiler for Comparation to manga:

I have a feeling no matter how good the episode will be, people would still bitch about it. As usual.

I don't see anyone here said anything bad about this ep. for now

Commenting on VA is different case.

Frenda's voice acting was so amazing!!! I was like: this has actually literally exceeded all of my expectations. It makes me think of absolute perfection.

Spoiler for Comparison to the manga:

J.C. staff really did well with this episode. Hopefully next episode is just as good. I thought Frenda's voice was literally like #1 I've seen in the railgun franchise. Mugino's voice wasn't half-bad either. Also, they had the Rikou pool scene :) I enjoyed that. :) Her laziness is the most important thing to display after all.

I liked Nunotaba's appearance and they showed the fact she drinks milk tea for continuity (good job remembering J.C. staff). I can't wait for you know what to happen next episode on both fronts. This anime version really is exciting. It still outdid my expectations and I was expecting a lot. Let the next few episodes outdo them even more and I will truly respect J.C. staff.

Actually it was good :p.

They exceeded my expectations.

Good animation, Frenda wasn't half bad, dat Mugino, another CG on the explosion, great voice acting, no Uiharu and Mikoto gratest battle up until now is about to began!

Its sad she only shines against lowly class enemies but here even a Level 0(who isn't Touma) kicks her ass quite badly.

pretty good, the action is much better compared to the manga. it shows he importance of knowing your opponents abilities

Frenda is a separate class of Level 0s after all.

Mikoto is still in a tired and somewhat de-energized condition, so her thinking and combat ability is below her highest possible standard. If that wasn't the case she might have had an easy solution for Frenda's games (at a min she could have clung to a wall out of Frenda's reach and tried to hack her way out of the room).

Also for all her power she doesn't actually have that much real combat experience. She's getting that experience here and will be more powerful for it.

I'd like to see more "You do realize lightning is *fast*, right?" scenes. Mikoto should win a quickdraw with almost anything on account of the speed of her attacks. Maybe she slows herself down figuring out *precisely* how not to seriously injure the person she attacks.

I liked that they gave such specific showing of the ceramic explosive defense. Mikoto didn't have time to analyze the situation but her automatic defenses were fantastic there. Incineration of many shards of ceramics instantly.

And I think we will have our first serious Lvl 5 vs. Lvl 5 fight here shortly (Accelerator cheats and doesn't count). Yessssss.

DorkingtonPugsly 2013-05-31 21:14

Loved it. Really happy they devoted a whole episode for this fight. The VA's did a good job too. Frenda sounded as cute as I'd hoped and Mugino's was great as well (I'll hold my final judgment until next week though...)

They had Frenda looking cute as hell and everything was animated/done nicely. Pretty satisfying episode.

There were a few in the manga but they kept one in, though it's like a quarter of a second... Maybe it'll be more 'uncensored' in the bluray. It damn well better be since I'm getting the blurays.

rladls716 2013-05-31 21:28

To be honest this is getting scary. Not powerful as Accelerator, but still powerful ability users Mikoto has to deal with. If Mikoto's level was lower she might have injured greatly or dead.

Mikoto is having it hard. Putting her life at stake to stop the experiment. And these scientists still has the nerves using as they please with Mikoto's DNA. It is no different than, harrasing part of her body.

As cute as Frenda is, she is still scary because her killing intent with playful voice. It reminds me of how stiyl using his fire powers against Touma the first time those two clashed.

Well for a Level 0, she ain't half as bad given the implications of one's status as a Level 0 after all, especially when considering who her team mates are... :uhoh:
