as other posted earlier , it character development .... they put a mini recap of 16 ( What the heck...) Cui aggressiveness , The twin wondering why there feeling this way and of course Yui-hime dere-dere mode:):)

while little is shown, but F 22 has the edge on anti TSF warfare ... shealth is factor , so are units specs and plus pilots ability .... That's for now ... Cui unit lasting 4 minutes is respectable considering she's using TSF that has no stealth ....

2nd generation machines against the state-of-the-art 3rd generation TSFs with better stealth than the mass produced raptors? It'd take more than a miracle for the Bao-Feng to win that battle.

Oh,and I feel sorry for the bartender. She needs to wear personal protective equipment considering her customers have been coughing out their drinks towards her direction. haha.

Too true. Yuuya and the Shiranui should last more than 4 minutes, right?

Can someone point out why does Cryska fell for Yuuya? What is the reason? I dont remember any situation in the previous chapters that could have heavily shifted her feelings towards him.

Well, besides that, Was a fun episode seeing Yuuya harem on the work. And I want to know Yuuya´s past now. Seems pretty nasty somehow, hope it does not dissapoint.

No new OP until episode 20.. blah. But at least there's a new scene in the OP now (and of Cui!).. We did get a new ED though, which was quite fitting for the end of this episode, but I still much prefer the first one to this.

Deredere Yui is so cute. Yuuya needs to tap that already. Get on with it, bro.

And now people can see how powerful Raptors are. As much as I love Raptors, my heart belongs to another TSF, which I believe is better than the Raptor. I felt pretty bad for Baofeng flight having to go up against a whole flight of Raptors in their 2nd gen TSFs, not to mention that the Infinities have better stealth systems than normal Raptors. I hope Argos flight manages to beat them..

And finally, I love how assertive and aggressive Cui is. <3

How exactly does one be so successful in conquering a harem even when he does not actively try to do it? LOL

Also, eager to know of Yuuya's "dark" past. Should be interesting.

Animation took a dive back to the lows that we usually see. Man it was painful to watch at some points.

Regardless, I'm very much into the series now and unless something drastically changes, I'm going to see this series through to the end.

I'm guessing the studio is bad at 2d drawnings but excels at 3d (see TSF combat)
On ep. 16 we had more combat than 2d scenes soo...

This episode is insane in lots of ways.

First the flashback of the russian esper loli's. its a wonder that before Inia and Cryska are at the same height but Cryska develop into a fine lady while Inia is still a lovely loli

The recap of the last episode is a waste of time and a useful way to save money -_-

onto the new part

the first riot is where Cui barge into the Yui and Yuuya's little launch time :D just to announce that if she win Yuuya and Cui will be having a honeymoon :D but crazy girl was curb stomp by the raptor. Well it has the ratio of 1:7 against Tsf. Raptor is a monster against tsf with its stealth.

The next riot is when Yuuya met up with Cryska and Inia in the bridge. Lovely scene from the audience pov but Cryska and Yuuya are both clueless. Its funny that while Cryska is having problems concerning Yuuya but Yuuya's answer is his problems with 94 2nd (lol should already expect that)

having a lovely scene Inia left the two :D such a considering girl but alas another trouble appear. Cui :D then Cryska with a slight irritation that she can't understand left and the funny part of it is Cui did Sumika's trade punch to Yuuya :D Cui is just a lovely girl indeed and a total riot. BANZAI CHINESE MIKU!!! though above all there is Yui observing the scene in the trees :heh: That! is the best scene :heh:

Yui get drunk by juice -_- followed by Yuuya entering the bar and Leon and having a bro fist fight with Sharon behind Leon.

Ah the final scene is such a lovely scene where Yuuya drag Yui out of the bar and having declaration of rivalry with Leon but forget Leon and Sharon. Yuuya took Yui's hand and run away. Its like they are in elopment :p which is impossible :heh: :heh: :heh:

funny scenes indeed.

I just notice it this episode because I didn't look before but there is a new ED right? since when did it change and when will op change?

Cons: The quality of this episode sucked and all they had to do was animate faces! Is it really that hard to make someone look right? Also, this anime kind of sucks at dialogue, they should just stick to TSFs and BETA-crushing. Yui getting an orgasm every time she sees Yuuya is getting a bit old, if this goes on she'll have undergone a complete personality change.

Pros: Kind of hilarious how Yuuya answered Cryska's (ridiculous) question with "oh don't worry it's just an Eishi thing". Also, good to see the two new Americans start to enter the scene. I wonder if Kuze will try to steal Yui from Bridges?

Misc: The Chinese may not have the best TSF, but they have managed to figure out how to make a girl's hair defy gravity!

This was a good episode, even though I think they are focusing a bit to much in the love part.

We've got to see Cui show as his wife, Cryska anxious about something she has no idea about(it's love) and Yuuya that doesn't understand a thing and thinks it's related to his love TSF, and we can't forget about Yui, who was shocked embarassed, and depressed in one episode. Almost forgot Yui as a stalker...:heh:

The battle part was really really short, we almost didn't see the Raptors, the same way Cui and her team didn't saw them.

We've also got to see a bit about the past of the Scarlet Twin's, being raised in a reserch facility Due to it's a matter of course that Cryska has difficulties in understanding her own emotions.

Almost forgot, what the hell happend between Yuuya and Leon, those guys really hate each other. I hope that the anime show us the "why" part soon.

The anime is really going in a slow pace, with more 07 episodes to go I can't see the ending yet.

So many jealous waifus in this episode....Yui behind that tree was pure classic.:D I liked how the episode opened with Cryska & Inia's past, along with that melancholic melody playing in the background. Pretty fitting I think. Cui is seriously in her own world, drooling over Yuuya like that. XD

Am I the only one who noticed Cryska's arm oddly tucked under the sheets in that last part of the episode? Don't tell me she was doing something naughty while thinking of Yuuya? :p


The only thing I hate about the episode are the massive amounts of QUALITY faces. Oh god, their numbers are greater than the BETA.

Qualities was bad in this episode but this one has to be winner. :heh:

Well at least I got to see stalking Yui and her carrots.

The quality is indeed a mess but I ignore it for the laughs.

Cryska is probably feeling irritated or troubled again in the end when she was shown in the bed.

Yuuya should find another source of problem beside 94 2nd.

Rather, the type 94 2nd is the only think that he can think as of late. Of what comes out of his mouth in the last episodes, 70% is about the Shiiranui. I feel so sorry for Yui, Cryska and Cui they never had any chance from the beginning. :heh:

Well, it would only make a difference if the BETA rely on radar, infrared, noise or ground vibrations to locate targets.

isn't Shiranui bad TSF? it's only on par with the chinese 2nd gen TSF, no way it can handle a raptor.

Raptor isn't designed to battle Beta. Its designed to battle Tsf and America being American is already thinking beyond the current war. They are thinking after the war with Beta despite the beta problem still exist. Well they aren't the one in front lines to begin with plus they don't hesitate to use full force if there will be Beta trying to land on their soil.

God this was sad. Turning full out into a harem series where all the girls are losing to a machine...

Good luck to Cryska to diagnose the power of a harem lead's appeal :heh:.

Just about everyone is falling for that guy these days. But at least the ridiculousness of it is pretty hilarious.
Why simply make something to kill your enemy when you can use it against your allies after you've won :heh:? Does seem rather pointless unless they come up with cloaking that actually makes them invisible.

Nah, with those high performance specs it's clearly as much intended to fight BETA as something like a Strike Eagle is. It just has the additional advantage of superiority over anything that relies on radar or IR acquisition to guide enemy fighters, missiles, etc. to the target.

Anyway I see they took the trouble to add Bao Feng 1 and her squad insignia to the OP even as they're about to rollover to OP2 soon.

well its useful for ambush and sneak attack since you won't detect them by radar and by the time you see them your dead. Raptor is FAST.

Why does no women know what they're doing whenever they're around Yuuya :eyespin: ?! Is his black-hole density truly affecting them across space-time :eyespin: ?


Oh, and I wish they've shown more of the Raptors, but I guess it's mighty convenient for the budget when the subject is all about stealth >.>

Great episode....that's one mighty fine Harem Yuuya has growing. Even though he's a bit dense, I'll always accept a dense MC who's not a wimp.

Cryska starting to realize what's it like to want his babies - Check

It really became clear why Cryska is falling for him. Not only is Inia being very attached to Yuuya what intrigues Cryska, but Yuuya answers pretty much why her, Inia and even Yui have fallen for him. Most of them haven't had a good past, and in a lot of ways very similar to Yuuya. Yuuya has even figured this out and compared it to why he believes he's also starting to bond with Yui. You always seem to bond well with people you can relate to, especially in a situation here where everyone can see how Yuuya is developing a much better character, which in turn makes the girls even more attracted to him. While I do feel Yui is currently "winning", this episode does show Cryska has a legit chance if she steps her game up. Cui is just too damn aggressive, I like that but its not really working for Yuuya. He does however does seem to care a little about her, as when she was depressed about the fight, he (in his own brickhead way) tried to console her.

Then we get to one of my favorite scenes, the fight scene. From personal experience, one of the best feelings is when you have pent up frustration towards someone, and get a chance to duke it out and throw some punches. Hell, some of the same people I've fought with wound up becoming good friends afterwards after finally dealing with the issue. I honestly wouldn't be surprised if we see something similar to that here....The Goku x Vegeta dynamic as I like to call it :p

Listening to the preview for next episode, something tells me that Leon has a grudge with Yuuya for some kind of abandonment, or something similar. I wouldn't be surprised if Yuuya left Sharon in the process, and Leon feels its his job to set Yuuya straight for doing that as well as leaving everyone else.

I-I see...! In the future, because humans were getting killed left and right by the now-lost BETA (must be taking their fall break), people invented a way to have kids with virtual entities! And some Chinese man must have had a child with Miku, thus creating a Chinese girl resembling Miku with green hair! No-now it makes sense!

Yuuya's harem FTW! The man deserves one since he earned it unlike 99.9% of the lames out there.

It did hurt to see Yuuya crumble with that punch to the solar plexus.

I really like the bro fight and their epic escape. That was a very relate-able and personal scene for me.
Just change the MP to bouncers and we got a 2010 incident taking place at a "club" in Hawaii...with drunks.

QUALITY! Oh, how I missed you. Nothing major this episode, more cute reactions, direct approaches and carrots don't forget about those!

still pretty fun episode this week, though moments with Cryska could have been handled better.

7/10 This week.

Thing is, I feel that it could be a much better show if the animation quality was better. However as it is now it is actually distracting me from the actual dialogue. I am a person who doesn't really bother too much with animation in the first place, so in this regard it is horrible.

just want to point out that the raptor used here is the EMD(Engineering and Manufacturing Development) variant. which means its the trial prototype of the mass produced version. Its certainly an improvement over the original Yf-22 prototype from 10 years ago but compared to the mass produced F-22A variant it is slightly weaker in most of its aspect. The EMD raptor improved the original Yf-22's stealth capabilities by using radar absorbing paint to coast it self and features improved noise reduction and heat signatures absorbtion from its Jump Units and lowered vibration level when walking,all features that are now found on the mass produced F-22A. Basically an EMD model is the final test trial version of an soon to be mass produced model, all the shortcomings found on the EMD version will be rectified and improved on with the Mass produced model. Similar to real life the mass produced model is often an improvement on the Prototype.

I know what you mean. This episode's animation quality is horrid enough to make me cringe too. I was expecting for QUALITY to make its return, but not in this scale.
