Mkv problem

I know you get a lot of these threads, but I can't find one for a thread that deals with sound drop and slow down outta sync. I been trying to get my computer back to normal after a hard driver format. Since the format my MKV have been dropping sound after a few minutes then video slows down and becomes out of sync. Here is the thing though, before the format I could watch 720dp MKV no problem.

My rig is,
Intel Pentium 4 3.00Ghz
3Gb memory
ATi Radeon HD 4300

I had similar problem on my corporate laptop. It was because of dpc caused by a faulty sata driver.
You may want to run the "dpclatency" tool to check if it's the cause ;)

This is why. Use a real decoder.

Suggestion: reinstall CCCP and select "Reset all settings" when prompted.

^After that, open the video in Media Player Classic
and list everything under 'Play-> Filters'.
