Code Geass - Seiyu (Voice Actor) Appreciation & Discussion
 

The purpose of this thread is to discuss, critique and idolize the Voice Actor cast of Code Geass. Please remember that the discussion should center on their performances as professional voice actors and not on the show content (which can be discussed in the various Episode threads). Please remember this simple rule when critiquing a VA's performance or reading another forum member's critique:

• Don't take it personally.
  In other words, you’re free to disagree with another person’s opinion, but don’t flame them if they offer a well written and well thought out analysis that differs from your own opinion. Keep it civil.
  
  
• Voice Actors are humans.
  Yes, it’s true. They’re human. Therefore, don’t just indiscriminately rip them and their work apart as if they’re inorganic objects. You don’t have to praise them non-stop, but be thoughtful in your criticism.

This thread might duplicate some discussion in the Episode threads, but it can also serve to demystify various VA roles, disseminate VA information (VA Bios, VA photos, etc) and provide cast information of various types as well as discussion about performances.

For those of you out there who play SSBM, you might also recognize Jun Fukuyama as Roy's seiyuu. :P

Midorikawa Hikaru seems to be the icy prince, as always.

I like the Emperor's Seiyu, for this reason:

i found it very shocking to find Sakurai also VAing for the main character in Junjou o.o;
him being uke there makes you crazed as a suza/lulu fan cause the voices sound a little the same

Sakurai-san WAS famous for voicing roles in BL CDs (I said "was", because he has stated that he will not be taking on new BL roles. However, he'll still honour past roles.)

Unless you don't see Suzaku as the seme all the time. ;)

That said, I was surprised to see he also did older Loki in Matantei Loki Ragnarok. I feel like rewatching the series now, that man really has a nice voice to listen to.

He doesn't appear that often, as far as I can remember. Still, there is hardly a role of his that can be termed "fail". I think Kira in Bleach is one of those.

I so much want C.C. with Tessa's voice, in CG DVD Magazine I can't get enough of it :rolleyes: Hers is even cuter than Kaguya's.

Well Tessa's voice is just cuteness overload, especially in her OVA from TSR.

Yukana as Isane in Bleach.... Is that her most "clueless" role, ever?

What about Kallens seyuu?
