Which characters do you think are going to play the larger role in Naruto other than Sasuke and Naruto?

Sakura, Gaara, AL, Madatobi and Itachi.

Karin, Juugo and Suigetsu should have pretty big roles as time goes on.

Yamato is also important because he keeps the Kyuubi in check.

Danzou might have some influence in the upcoming arcs *crosses fingers*

heh I forgot all about Danzou. I have a feeling that he'll be an important character at some point as well. I think in terms of teams I think Gai team probably will wind up being very important; especially Lee and Neji...I just don't see Tenten playing an important role anytime soon :(

Its obvious its gonna be Pain and True AL... Itachi, Kisame and Kakashi no doubt...

Why do people want Danzou to return? I'd say that Danzou is now as important as Mizuki.

This manga was about Naruto, Sasuke, Kakashi, Sakura and Itachi since day one.
Remember that day when they met Kakashi and Sasuke mentionned Itachi ?

Hmm, I think that Sakura, AL, Madara, Kyuubi, Kakashi, Jiraya, Sai, Yamato, and there could be others....

Itachi was put in the story for Sasuke's development. So he is important, but the manga is about Naruto.

Really? I thought we've been reading the manga Sasuke.

I think naruto/kyuubi, pein=al, madara in obito's body, kakashi, sakura , heibi , Blue(female) , itachi , yamato, yondaime.

Well that doesn't mean other characters have not played really important roles. I mean look at Shikamaru. He played a very important role after Asuma's death. Gai's team still appears to be playing an important role as we get closer to a confrontation with Itachi and Kisame and I would hope that Kishimoto has more planned for Kurenai's team. As for Naruto's team. I still feel that Sakura hasn't played a very important role since he fight with Sasori.

As for the major villains and what roles they will play. I think Madara/Tobi, Pein, the female, and Itachi and Kisame seems to be playing big roles. I'm not sure what to expect with Zetsu. I think Kabuto is going to play a role, but I'm unsure what role he'll play.

As for the other members of team hebi I think Karin plays a very small role (I see her and Sakura possibly having a confrontation) The other two members I think will wind up playing the bigger roles.

Well ofc. Itachi Uchiha, the whole Sasuke, Naruto thing is based on him in the end.

I think everyone is going to be important except for Hinata's click and Gai's click.

Kabuto (The Spirit lives on!)
Suigetsu (Just cause out of Sasuke's crew I like him most)
Tobi (obviously from the last chapter)
And hopefully Hinata and her squad since they have been kinda invisible lately.

I would love for the ramen girl to be important. :)

Team Hebi is no different than the Sound Five. With the exception of Sasuke, they are all likely to end up dead within 25 chapters.

The rest of the teams are not important. Look at the roles Team Gai, Team Sand, Team 10 played in their arcs. And Team 8 is probably the least important team and have been badly overshadowed in this arc. The only members of those teams in Part 2 who have been developed at all are Shikamaru and Gaara.

Sadly, Tsunade, Jiraiya, and many of the older characters also seem to have lost importance.

So I would say.

Important characters other than Naruto and Sasuke:

Sakura, Kakashi, Itachi, Kabuto, Tobi, Pein, Shikamaru, Gaara.

Not Important:

Everyone else.

You forgot BH :D. Kishi please don't make her a healer. We have to few of fighting females and too many healer females.
