Plot Summary:
The story takes place a little in the future. Guided by one particular song, young elementary school student Suzuhara Sorata, from the Heisei Era, is warped through a time skip to an unfamiliar place that looks much like the towns from the Meiji or Taishou period from his textbooks. In this world, he meets three young ladies and nine young men and joins them on a journey aboard the mysterious Norn ship, a giant globe that floats in midair.

Whoa, they introduced quite a bit of character in the first episode. Well anyways, the world fiction part interested me like the starships and stuff.

And music and animation was fluid. I hope they give some characterization about the rest of the cast especially the main girl. We see some glimpses of her past already by the looks of it.

Looks like Sentai is also streaming the show through Hulu. [Hulu page] Wish I'd known that before I signed up for a Anime Network premium subscription. :mad:

The start felt kind of dull and I wasn't sure what to make of the setting with the ship and all... however things picked up really well in the 2nd half. Our heroine actually remembered her name in the first episode and she literally denied the amnesia trope. lol It also seems to be more than just a jolly sweet otomege with how things turned out at the end of the episode so I'm looking forward to more. :D The OP also implicated more than one relationship which seems quite refreshing.

As for the heroine, the moment she started worrying about the peach rather than her own life was the moment I started to like her. :heh: Girls who aren't aware of how crazy they are are the best! In fact I already like her more than Amnesia's heroine and Diabolik Lover's heroine (although this one isn't hard to beat). Good stuff.

Ep 01

I actually found myself liking the setting and the characters. We were sort of hurled into everything whole hog, but it was not information overload. There was a feel to it that reminded me of what I liked about the anime Amnesia. I especially liked the bgm and visuals. It is an interesting setting and has potential, I think. What they will DO with it is another issue, but I enjoyed the first episode itself. :)

Well, this was sort of a mess, but at least we have all that ear candy. :heh: I hope they'll explain more about the heroine's past. I also hope they won't try any harem and love triangle shenanigans, not when the official couples are pretty clearly shown in the OP...

And I wish the music would tone it down a little. I get that it's trying to be rousing and all, but it often way too overwhelming.

I'm not sure what to think about series yet, but I really like the OST. I agree that it kinda stands out too much, though. It's like it belong in some war epic.

Rather large cast, it going to be a bitch to give them all the attention they need, which make me worry for the shows narrative in the long run. Also the setting seemed a bit 'designed', but perhaps that will get explained in time. On a postive note the end music was rather nice and might make it onto my personal playlist.

For now I'm giving it 3 episodes to grab me. See if it can make its huge cast work and wake up the plot.

Not a bad start I guess. I like the world building and that is one amazing ship. The OST is amazing. However, I the MC is as dull as brick, and the guys aren't that interesting. However, I'll be interesting in seeing where it all goes, at least for a little while.

Halfway through & still don't know what to think.
It looks interesting.
Was made after a game/visual novel & the plot feels like it too.
Relaxed and kinda slow.. with special abilities.
Will give it a try.

Man, OP gives me hope that they'll do this adaptation justice in that they'll actually fully animate a route for each heroine till the very end. That's my squick with otome adaptations, as they never seem to tell a full route.

Sadly, they started the show with the most boring heroine of the three. I mean, colour me biased since she's the only one without a childhood friend, but seriously, I've already had my fair share of amnesiacs in JRPGs that I can't enjoy any more. I'd rather take the bitchy one or even <gasp!> the Rei-clone over them any day of the week.

I started watching it this morning. The art work is good, and the storyline shows promise. I don't get why there are so many female leads with red or pink hair lately :( I thought it was going to be a reverse harem at first but their is an equal amount of girls as their are guys. Will keep watching, because the ending was kind of a cliff hanger ... I hope she ends up being a strong character
