Interesting.

Well I'm interested since the series does have a nice setting but I hope this one is much better than The Princess And The Pilot, which I thought was just bland and almost boring at times.
|
I got the Series Composition info from Moon Phase, and that probably came from the top entry on this page: http://gagaga-lululu.jp/gagaga/information/index.html
Google Translate had that as this: Quote:

Well ... umm ... to each their own I suppose. Though I must confess that I read the novel first and was totally hooked, so maybe those who saw the anime as their "first impression reference" may not have been so swept off their feet. Still though, color me initially interested for this as well. |
I liked the move a lot, and I'm looking forward to this. But I'm singularly unimpressed by the staff list.
|
Finally a thread about this gets made. Considering that I've watched and enjoyed both the movie and the novel it was adapted from, I'm really psyched about this one. The person who directed Lagrange Rinne is directing this, huh? I don't know what to say about that, but as long as this doesn't fail in its execution, it'll definitely have my weekly attention.
Now I have something to look forward too, this fall. Can't wait to see where this goes. |
I really liked the movie, so I'm glad to hear there will me more of the same, albeit with different characters and stories, coming soon.

Same as the movie. Nothing surprising.

Haven't posted in this thread in a while(and the anime now premieres January 2014).

Movie with that genderbend Kaworu was really mediocre (and her VA sucked). I hope this time will be better

PV for the light novel.
Sort of a "prince charming fighting to protect his damsel in distress" kinda thing. :heh: As adventure / fantasy goes, it doesn't get more generic than this. |
The 2011 movie that was set in the same world as this spin off didn't have a particularly complex premise either and it was fantastic, so I'm hoping this show will prove to be better than its premise would suggest as well.
The style seems to be a bit different though. In particular the characters in the new series look younger. Plus the 2011 movie didn't go for J-pop. :p |
And we have liftoff, as Crunchyroll clears the runway:
http://www.crunchyroll.com/anime-new...ove-song-anime The Pilot's Love Song is a good English title. |
With a bit of rephrasing, the section of that crunchyroll article labelled "story" would make a nice synopsis -for the 2011 film that's set in the same world as this TV series but features different characters. :p

I'll be on a the look out for this. I watched the movie (not sure on the title) to a certain pilot? and its a great story but I don't like the ending :(
I hope this story won't disappoint me too. |
