Just noticed something - on the El Santo's pirate emblem, there seems to be some written in a curve under the skull. Anyone know what it says?

This is the part where I get to say, "Can't see shit, Cap'n!". Even in The Complete Chart book, the emblem was too small.

Not much going on with the series at the moment, aside from a number of collabs and reruns (probably leading up to the movie's home release). One of the collabs with Sankyo-Fever, titled Fever Mouretsu Pirates, involves a Mouretsu pachi-machine with several new animated segments, such as a CG Marika, Jenny rescue and several short sword/ship battles, though nothing really impressive. (I wonder who the last one in the VS lineup is?)

EDIT: It turned out to be Captain Chiaki (wearing Marika's uniform but with her father's hat).

So is the movie out or what? I haven't heard anything about the movie or when it's supposed to come out.

It has a tentative BluRay release date of November 12, 2014, so expect around that time.

Reminds me of the episode when Marika signed some official documents before obtaining her LoM, and the Bentenmaru Power Up Plan (the one with the UTP addresses :heh:). All of those were Mikako-shi's handwritings.

Mikako-shi is going to appear at Starchild's latest work announcement at AnimeJapan 2015 this Sunday.

There's no hype from the author's, director's, nor the official twitter, but I'll just pray that MoPi will get a 2nd season :bow:. I'll also be content if it is a series related to aerospace, inside or outside the stratosphere, and no mecha.

Don't remind me. I just saw the movie a couple of weeks back and it reminded me why I liked this show so much but at the same time it felt so weak. Am I the only one thinking that this show really suffered when the anime-original stuff begun?

I think , This series might become even better if A Boy appear who happen to be a commander of ''Space Nevi'' and often clash with Marika as rivals!
After all , Pirates & Nevi always been rivals !
