Kamisama Dolls

The seinen manga Kamisama Dolls by Yamamura Hajime will be getting an anime adaptation:

The manga is serialized in the seinen manga magazine Sunday GX.
Currently there are 6 volumes released of this manga, and volume 7 will be released on July 17th, 2010.

Why don't they just say "group date"? If they're not even going to translate such an esoteric term for their blurb, why shouldn't I expect these Fate scanlation guys to pull a "You kisama-tachi!" in their actual scanlations... Weeaboo scanlator fail...

But that's hardly your fault. You might want to add "horror" to the genre list, though. "Dead, bloody, bod[ies]" and dolls running around making "dead, bloody, bod[ies]" probably qualify. (but at least it's not a live body...)

I found the manga kinda meh so hoping seeing it animated might garner some interest but I won't be holding my breath.
Something about just didn't click.

Staff + Cast announced. Director + Script + Character designers are Seto No Hanayome team. Also, Brains Base is animating this.

Ishikawa Chiaki is also confirmed to be singing the OP (Fukanzen Nenshou) & ED (Switch ga Haittara), on top of composing the OST alongside Nishida Masara. This seems to be the first time she's having a go at the latter job, waku waku~

The only thing I'm wondering.....I thought Aki has blond hair? Why is his hair white in the anime?
Well, it's not that much of a problem, but I liked his blond hair. But maybe white-haired psychos are more liked xD

Pretty sure Yamamura intended his hair to be white. Sometimes it gets colored funny in insert pages.
