heh maybe I need to set my expectations lower for him. I keep expecting him to get some kind of powerup like in Bleach or Naruto, instead he gets insta-KO'd with a hand through his chest. :heh:

Kagura and Izumi, who should be Yomi.

It's been some time since I read volume 8, but earlier on Ranguren calls Izumi master. Kagura has amnesia, leading up to that page she gets knocked out by a giant human faced monster and Kensuke gets pwned as usual. Izumi by "luck" slashes the giant fish in half and rescues Kagura. In that panel she says, "I won't give my Kagura to anybody else". Ch. 39 is a giant flashback to scenes from the anime as Kagura reminisces about "the loved thing that I lost" and manages to recall Yomi. Afterward Kagura wakes up and calls Izumi Yomi. Izumi doesn't understand and thinks Kagura must have mistaken her for somebody else, but there is a cliffhanger at the end where Izumi seems to realize something.

Next chapter isn't out till March. I wish the manga was about Yomi and Noriyuki or Yomi and Kagura as opposed to Kagura and generic male lead #2.

I'm pretty sure it's going to BAD END though, as the narrative text is rather ominous. Time to die a third time Yomi. ;_;

See, Yomi's name is written as 諫山 黄泉. Her full name is Isayama Yomi
While this one is Izumi, but her name is very similar, written as 磯山 泉. Her full name is Isoyama Izumi. She apparently has an obsession for Kagura, can see spirits and has hidden, perhaps Yomi-like, skills... anyway, there is something about her...

No Yomi... just a copypasta replacement? :heh:

It would appear in Chapter 39, that she is receiving memory transfer... :heh: Prior to that, she had strong feelings for Kagura, and she probably doesn't know why...

I really like where this is going! :heh: Even this will most likly turn out really bad for them and Yomi will die AGAIN :heh:
