Japanese/Anime Games for Linux

There are a lot of Japanese games and desktop toys for Linux... they're hard to find, though, without knowing the general UNIX scene in Japan :) Here are some I've found:

oneko: http://www.daidouji.com/oneko/ A cat or Sakura-chan to run around on your desktop.
ActX: http://kurumi.sakura.ne.jp/~chimari/ActX/ Anime characters that sit on your X11 windows.
sl: http://www.tkl.iis.u-tokyo.ac.jp/~toyoda/ From the man page: "sl is a highly developed animation program, which corrects your mistyping." A great thing to annoy users of your server with. (SL is a Japanese train line.)

Do you know of some more?

I remember getting a Multi one a LONG time ago (back in RH5 days). Oh btw, if you own Kanon/AIR, you might want to try out xkanon, since it's an unofficial linux port of their AVG engine.

ok, a few questions for ashibaka (or whoever else can answer) about the anime characters who sit on your windows.

1. In the mascot configuration you can both define what the mascot says as a clicked on message and a biff message. What the clicked message is is obvious, but what is "biff" what would cause her to say the biff message?

2. There is also an area to define "click sound" and "biff sound" I figured since these were text boxes they were for me to define the path to the sound effects, but when I type a path to a sound effect (ex: /home/vulkar/sounds/woo.wav) the sounds don't seem to work. What is the proper way to define the click and biff sounds?

Biff is a mail checking script. It would check /var/spool/mail/you IIRC.

Maybe you need to define a command, like "mplayer /home/vulkar..."?

yep. putting in a command did it perfectly. I used the "play" command. Thanks a lot.

I found a website with more cool anime Linux stuff. Here:
http://www.limo.fumi2kick.com/

They also have an English version, although it's a lot older:
