I'm going to guess (no foreknowledge, nothing, just a wild guess based on the lack of stuff in the PV and the preview screenies) that absolutely nothing happens this episode until a sudden BETA attack right before the ED rolls.

Not a bad episode. Can see some differences in the character design, making them softer. No Inia this episode except in flash backs though. Also cliffhanger for CQC next episode.

Why didn't anyone hear frying bacon at the end?

Yuuya is still suffering from his own complexes.
Despite being the hero of the day, he didn't feel like one.
He did panic in a fight, that's a fact, but it still took guts to turn the situation around.
The delay 'cause of the sudden malfunction was kinda suspicious.
I'm suspecting the Russians trying to dig out Japan's secrets out of the weapon.
BETA's sudden attack from underground was an interesting turn of events.

The interactions were good especially the part with Latrova and Yuuya, but the fight at the coast was barely shown....

Also, I couldn't help myself from chuckling when one of the officials mentioned recapturing Sadogashima with the railgun.

damn thought i was gonna see yui come to the frontline with her type 00 .... i seriously didnt like her at first but latly shes killed my anger twords her which started when i saw her pilot the type 00

i hope Nastassja Ivanova is next to warm up to him

Guess steel princess Yui is no match for Yuuya's smiling face ....

Ps Is it just me, but i see parallel between Takeru and Meiya's relationship ( well in unlimited that is )

I'm not sure if that's an error with the subs or the writers of the program.

But that was a battalion that they last fought (Episode 09) and they said that they have an army sized unit underneath the NW Outskirts of the base.

Army unit sizes
3-5 companys= battalion
3-5 battalions= Brigade
3-5 Brigades=Division
3-5 Divisions= Corps (Pronounced Core)
3-5 Corps= Army

Cause if they are right with the numbers, thats a wipe unless Yui gets the railgun on the way out and get's it working.

Keep forgetting is this a 24 episode or a 12-13 episode anime?

A pretty nice breather episode.. but eh, the quality..

I'm completely dumbfounded as to what the phrase "Nash Ura" is supposed to mean. They were using it like a chant in this episode.. and that confuses me even more.. I honestly can't even tell what the studio/writers were going for by using it. =/

Well, I'm guessing that she's going to try to hold the BETA back until back up from the coast (Argos Flight, Zhar Flight, and maybe the other Flights?) arrives.

It's 2 cour, so 24 episodes.

If the BETA were able to dig underground, why haven't they done to same to North America?

3000+ kills during his first sortie? That number seems a bit too high.
