Zettai Karen Children
 

A manga by Takashi Shiina, of Ghost Sweeper Minami fame. Started serialization on Shounen Sunday in 2005, and continues serialization to this date. It has a 51-episode anime adaptation by SynergySP, and will soon get an OVA series.

Well, I couldn't find a manga thread for this excellent, excellent series, so I went ahead and created one.

Anyway, the latest episode dropped us quite the bomb. It'd appear the Feather's real identity is



Of course the episode didn't spell it out for us, but that'd be the most rational conclusion.

Seems like it but hope it's someone else just to mix things up a bit more. Maybe another one of the children. Or maybe a mix of all 3.

Was about time someone made a thread here! I almost thought I was the only one who liked the manga.

On another tone, Zettai Karen Children is going to gain another chance on the small tube, this time they are developing an OVA based on middle school arc.

If time travel really be applied in this serie. Then I think that

I never thought that Feather will be someone from the future before reading you guys post. I just think that she might be Carrie because she said she loved Minamoto :heh:

if time travel is possible im thinking that it's the other option because it would make sense, also the hair seems to be a giveaway. Personally i hope feather isn't from the future but with little to no real information other than she loves minamoto and that she wants to change the future, we really have very little to go with.

the one really cheesy sci fi plot that really stuck out to me was the heavy future and light future... that was a funny bit of double backing, eventhough all the predictions so far have come true. Although I still don't know how Minamoto got there in time to take a bullet for Igou.

I strongly believe that Feather is Carrie.

Carrie was created by an experiment; so it is possible that Black Phantom might have taken that research and created Mirage/Phantom. Although it is hard to say, because of the lack of info regarding the experiment and what they did in there.

I doubt it, Carrie could be but it's more likely kaoru due kaoru's stronger pyschokinesis which eventhough carrie does posses a high level of pyschokinesis she is no where near as strong as kaoru.

I personally think that Feather is the Amalgam of the children's feelings for Minamoto. It is just that Kaoru has probably strongest overall feelings for Minamoto.

Sure, Kaoru is strong.

But, when Carrie was born, she had a mind of a baby, and already had a high level of ESP.

So, if the experiments had been more then just successful, Carrie may be even stronger.

I'm guessing that the experiments involved the Rare Metal Earrings that Mirage/Phantom had.

True, I'm looking forward to it.
The anime made Barret, Kaoru and Hyoubu's fight pretty nicely

From the way feather is acting, I have a hard time believing it is kaoru... maybe this is a reincarnation things, since the stones posses the psychic imprint of those strong people, maybe in the past there was also a matsumoto that loved a psychic, because to me I think Carrie would never do anything to betray matsumoto.

So...feather is with minamoto who is with the children, but mirage is with PANDRA at the school... Does that mean feather isn't necessarily the same body as mirage?

Check Nai in the panels before feather appears. She got the raremetal ring with her.

Yeah, but even so that doesn't make sense. The rare metal earring is empty, remember? Feather's persona was transferred into Phantom Daughter.
