Best sports anime.
 

What do u thnk is the best sport anime coz they motivate me to take up a sport seriously. I have watched slam dunk, eyeshield 21 and i thnk their great but are there anymore gud sports anime?

Giant Killing, airing right now, is a really excellent soccer anime. I also like Major as a baseball anime, though over the course of six seasons it's had natural highs and lows. Not everyone is going to take up auto racing, but Capeta is a very underrated racing anime from a few years back. There's also Cross Game, whose virtues have been extolled beyond any further need on this board - but though it covers baseball I don't really think of it a sports anime. it's more about relationships - but nevertheless the best series of the past year or so in any genre.

There's Hajime no Ippo, which centers on the sport of boxing. It has great boxing action and strong character development in general.

The series is a major long runner (the original manga started in 1990 and it's still going!) the first anime adaptation was released in 2000, and spans 75 episodes plus a movie (Champion Road) and an OVA (Mashiba vs. Kimura). The 2nd season (New Challenger) came out in 2009.

Big Windup is one of the better baseball anime out there.
