You have got a tsundere, DFC, and an android(?) piloting mechs. This will be hot. Story is just a bonus for this type of show. :p

Anyways, how long does a series gets animated after announcement for a LN company like this one?
|
The most recent series from MF Bunko that's airing (Asobi ni Iku yo!) was announced over a year before it started broadcast. So it may be a while.
|
Ho~~
Director: Yasuhito Kikuchi (Macross F director) Animation: 8-bit (Macross F movie production) Excellent, excellent news imo. I wanted high quality visuals and I probably won't be disappointed now. |
I guess we can expect some awesome combat scenes. :)
|
Hopefully it doesn't have the same writer of Frontier... though at least this is already based on a novel.

We could have a nice surprise since Gohands (an other young studio mainly coming from Satelight former staff) did nice animation with their first own project : Princess Lover! despite the ridiculous plot. |
8-Bit is a break away of Satelight's main studio. Similar to how BONES is a break away of Sunrise. Satelight seems to really be bleeding talent lately. I wonder if they'll be around for much longer...

I am planning to update Wikipedia...care to help me translate a few of the things in there?
http://ja.wikipedia.org/wiki/IS_%E3%...82%B9%E3%80%89 According to the information about Ichika, he basically has to raise two sisters by himself and is given a scholarship to study at the Academy. |
..........Japanese wiki... I can't helped on that one.
