So....what are the chances that the one who killed Mahiro's family is Aika herself?

Ha ha, I remember reading the first chapter and giving up, but now after reading the 15 chps so far.......

The 'magician of zetsuen' may be Aika-chan.........

Or maybe she is the will of the tree of begininnings

Former is obvious....latter because he's really making Hakaze-chan into his thing...even if unknowingly.

Thus the Trees' reach in this matter is so potentially deep it's really unknown how far it goes.

Hmmmm, true and everything in this story was planned out but I dare say there are 2 candidates for the planners

Yes....the real planner...may not be who we expect...it could even be someone right in front of everyones' faces all along.

The way things stand now, the case for it being anyone can be made watertight

Like what that woman activist in chapter 25 was saying, the Genesis Tree may actually be indirectly saving humanity from wiping itself out by destroying all weaponry.....If it turns out that more good than harm actually results...

...Well, it would really be in line of Yoshino and Aika-chan's wish for a Tempest-like ending, one where there is a good end for everyone.

True, suddenly it can be one of the protagonists (laughs)

But jokes aside, one of the candidates is Aika-chan as
1)She pretty much sets hints everywhere for the protagonists like how the story she told her boyfriend was very similar to the current situation
2)She pretty much held power over the 2 protags
3)She isn't actually the sister of the other protag, meaning she could have been part of hakaze's clan just abandoned

I still sincerely hope she and Yoshino get their wish though. The two of them are just too cute together....

I'm actually favoring the theory that she isn't dead yet...that she may somehow return linked to Hakaze-chan in some way...

Ah thats to be expected, but maybe she may return as a ghost, after all, people keep saying that ghost don't exist then suddenly one appears would be quite funny

Well...Prospero was left for dead too....while it's obvious reference to Hakaze, I think the real person it is directed at is Aika-chan....

Its official, the whole thing was planned by someone else because the magician of zetsuen is laid back:D

I thought chapter 16 was great until the last few pages. I hate mini time skips and new main characters :frustrated:

No.....

Hanemura is not really...laid back...more like he's kinda....wimpy.

His will so far is not firm enough. That's why everyone suspects Yoshino as well. Hanemura is the power while Yoshino is the influence of the Zetsuen Tree so to speak.

It may strengthen over time though, Hanemura's will.


As for whether Hanemura could have been the one behind it all, hard to say. Even at the end of vol 6 there's still too little info to tell.

Let the Hakaze and Yoshino ship set sail...:D

I think it's interesting how Mahiro and Yoshino were split apart. Even though it wasn't of their own accord I think there's more behind it than meets the eye...

I believe "normal" is a better term. They way he reacts to this whole mass really feels like how a everyday commoner would act when toss into this type of situation.
And for someone so weak willed, he is actually coping with the situation really well.

That's true....wimp only in Mahiro and Samon's eyes...

BTW, has there been word when vol 7 is released?

With the possible ways of how Aika will be killed getting eliminated in this chapter...
I... have a feeling that Aika is going to die simply because the scenario demands it to work that way.
As in, the story won't be able to progress the way it is unless she dies, so he has to die no matter what.

The new chapter has gotten me thinking....Just what are the Tree's creators...
