An alternate way to buy japanese music:

I wanted to test is this: http://www.mora.jp online music buying ala itunes.
the site looked promising, lots of choice, price around 250yen per song, everything went smoothly until i got the following error page:
"Sorry. The Service of this site could be available with the access only from JAPAN."
*kicks sony in the balls*
if anyone know how to bypass that "feature"...

After that failure, i tried the same thing on the avextrax site http://atmusic.avexnet.or.jp/wma/ , and it worked!
it didn't even ask for personal informations like name or address, just the credit card number.

Personally I use Anime Jungle.

You can find new and used CDs/DVDs/merchandise there and the prices and quality on the used items are amazing. I've bought CDs from them many times at 1/2 to 1/3 the price of the brand new copies and they look brand new even though they were used! (I actually e-mailed them to verify they were used.)

Sometimes it's a bit hard to find CD singles though if you aren't looking for something specific or a 3 inch CD single since they put all the Maxi Singles in with the normal CDs. But searching through all the pages in that case can be worth it sometimes since you can find really rare CDs.

I would buy it either from CD Japan or Yes Asia. Look for the links in the first post.

I think yesasia is quite reasonable, CDs price is quite standard although others like manga might be expensive there, but only if you take advantage of free-shipping option. If not it's pretty painful since you have to pay for both unit and shipment. If you just want 1 CD try play-asia, they have low shipping cost and rather fast delivery (from my previous purchase).

For example: Aria Piano Collection: US price+shipping

Play-asia: US $19.90+$2.60=US$22.50
CD Japan: YEN $2000+$800 ~ US$24.06
Yesasia: US $19.75 + Free(conditionall) = US$19.75 (conditional)

Animecastle: Do not have most recent or new anime music.
Amazon: Last resort unless you want to pay for both unit & shipment.

For all those in london look for Forbidden Planet store, highly recommended by far asmy favourite comic shop. Stacked with comics ,action figures, manga, anime, dvd's, books, comics, graphic novels, toycapsules, japanese toys, imports. If you decide to visit be sure to also visit the 4 other comics stores within a walking distance from the shop.

Question

Does anyone know where I can find the introduction song for the anime Koi Koi 7? I'm not a particular fan of the song but my brother is. Help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

The song is called "Super Love" and you can find it on this CD:

--> Koi Koi Seven Songbook: Prism (Amazon.com)
--> Koi Koi Seven Songbook: Prism (CDUniverse.com)

Track Listing:

1. Super Love
2. Vegetable Juice
3. Lost Days
4. Miracle
5. 9 Tracks Listed In Japanese

Cheers. :)

I prefer to buy music from http://www.animecastle.com just because they have better prices but they jack up the shipping to make up for it. Animenation lost 2 orders of mine but I've never tried the other sites. Wouldn't mind doing so.

Trying to obtain a song.

I've been trying to find a song called "Tears and Rain" by Yoichiro Yoshikawa, it's the ending theme to Green Legend Ran. I've looked high and low for this song. I found the sound track to Green Legend Ran on a few sites, but it was always Unavailable, why do they list it if I cant buy it? From trying to buy it, to trying to download it, my search has come to nothing since I cannot find it no matter what.

If anyone knows where to buy it or has it, I'd much appreciate it, it is a really good song.

resonably priced CDs

Hey all,

I was wondering if anyone knew where I could find CDs that aren't horrendously marked up just b/c they are imports.

In particular I want Koichi Domoto singing Deep In Your Heart from Jyu Oh Sei. I know it's out as a single but 12USD seems a bit much for one song.

Unless it's an old anime OST/Single. otherwise, online market price for a new CD is usually between US$12 to $18, excluding shipping.
