Saint Seiya: Chapter of Heaven ~ Overture
 

Yo guys, this movie is released throughout Japan on February 13th, I was hoping that someone would be nice enough to sneak in their camcorders and record the movie!! It would be more awsome if somebody subbed it too!! Basically this is a sub request lol...

That and aparently Bandai is making a PS2 game based on that same movie, as stated from www.the-magicbox.com : "Bandai announced they are working on a new PlayStation 2 called Saint Seiya (tentative name), the game seems to be based on the upcoming anime movie Saint Seiya: Chapter of Heaven ~ Overture, which will be in theaters on February 14 in Japan."

It doesn't look like the movie will finish the story... or will it? :hmm:

No...... the movie won't finish everything.
They will fight Athena's sister "Artemis - Goddess of the Moon".
I'm not sure about Apollo.. but the poster there with him in it kinda confused me.
(They already fought Apollo once in the old movie, it will be strange to fight hime again? Seeing as his already been defeated.)

This isn't the Zeus chapter, as the previous OVA/movies of Saint Seya, it's a little out-of-time story.

So it's just a gaiden ( 外伝 ) that exists in an alternate timeline/universe? I'd still watch it, for completeness's sake. :p

Well if I remember well (because it's really an old new lol) Seya will be in a wheelchair right?

So it would be after the Hades arc even if it's ubberly stupid -you know why if you had read the end of the manga.

However, different from the other Movies, this one is directly the continuation of the history. A proof of it is that Kuramada-sama himself made a 5-page one-shot, putting an end to the Hades arc, and also introducting the new arc, which'll start in this movie.

Anyways, I can't wait for this movie. After more than 10 years, Saint Seiya comes back as strong as ever...

Well, I didn't read it, but I downloaded it a while ago.
It was released in the same magazine where it's being released Saint Seiya Episode G by now.

And the one I downloaded was in Japanese, so I couldn't read it XD But a translated version may be coming ^^

but I remember..In the TV serise...they never showed Zeus right??
they only showed 3 of the 12 gods
forgot their names =.=

No Zeus in the TV anime series.

I only remember Athena (of course), Odin (Asguard Saga), Poseidon (Kaiou Saga), and Hades (Meiou Saga).

Apollo was in one of the movies.

You're right. Odin isn't one of the higher gods.

I threw his name in there because he was the god worshipped by the people in that part of the story (he doesn't actually appear in human form, just his stone statue).

It's just filler for the anime anyway (not part of the manga).

the twelve gods are poseidon, zeus, hades, athena, apollo, abel, seiya, shiryu, shun, ikki, hyoga, and hephaistos

damn, i can't wait till the Chaos chapter comes out, it's gonna be kick ass, it's a battle of the gods.

btw, athena's 5 bronze saints are gods because in the manga, it refers the saints who posess divine cloths as one of the twelve gods led my zeus. to be more specific, this can be found in the 28th chapter to saint seiya, in the hades section.

Where the heck did you see Seiya, Hyoga, Ikki, Shun and Shiryu are higher gods? Lol, they're not. In Greek mythology, the original 12 Higher Gods from the Olympus were: Zeus, Hera, Athena, Hephaestus, Apollo, Artemis, Aphrodite, Hestia, Hermes, Demeter, Ares and Poseidon. It's important to note that Hestia later gave her High God position to the wine god and son of Zeus, Dionysus. Hades was a very important God too, but since he was the Ruler of the Underworld, he wasn't considered to be part of the Olympus. And even...



Also, these two chapters aren't part of the storyline at all. They're just two doujins written by another mangaka, they were not written byKurumada-sama.

So, there's no "Zeus chapter" nor "Chaos chapter" that are real parts of the storyline.

The movie does take place after the Hades.
(It says in the Synopsis from the movie's website.)

Too bad you never get to see the fight between Seiya & Hades in OVA format.
