Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children

Can someone tell me about this?

Saw a trailer for it but it wasn't in english.

http://www.square-enix.co.jp/dvd/ff7ac/

Will it be put in theaters, DVD, or what?

Anyone know?

The title is called Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children (It says that in english and you couldn't get that right??? aiya.) It's a 60 min movie that will be put out on DVD in Japan in summer 2004, that takes place 2 years after the end of Final Fantasy VII.

When in the kingdom hearts timeline does it take place?

DrWho2002 2003-12-26 22:26

Actually, I don't think Sephiroth is really going to be in it at all, if he is, it'll be through flashbacks. This has nothing to do with Kingdom Hearts at all.

I hope they screen this at the Big Apple Anime Festival next year.

Ah........ no. Cuz that means FF07, FF08, FF10 are also in the same time period, same universe. That wouldn't make any sense.

If your talking about universes in games all the FFs were different times/universes.. Kingdom Hearts was just a big mess that threw in FF characters.. Cameo roles in a cheesy game IMO is not actually or shouldnt be considered existing as its own universe, as the game itself doesnt focus on FF chars..

JAppi 2003-12-27 13:34

You're also missing the fact that there are ffx characters in it too. Maybe all the games secretly are linked together. The creators just want us to think we're crazy.
