Shingetsutan Tsukihime- the Sacred Moon

Anyone know of a site where I can download The Tsukihime opening, Sacred Moon? I'm having a lot of trouble finding it, and it's getting pretty annoying.

You could rip it out yourself using virtual dub, or if your really having problems "get" the ost.

Seems to only be the 1:30-1:35 , no longer length ones : (

The OST is available (in both VBR and CBR, so you can pick your flavor) on another bittorrent site that can be found if you search for it on here. However, I don't think I should link to it directly, so you will have to do your own foot work.

The whole OST is really good. Well worth the purchase if you choose to buy it.

Thanks. I guess I might buy the OST, it is pretty good...

You can get it quite cheaply from yesasia, assuming you buy about $12 more stuff from them and get the free shipping option, assuming you're in the states.

Can someone explain to me what the difference is between the VBR and CBR versions.

Esperchld 2003-12-18 04:36

VBR has a variable bit rate, and CBR has a constant bit rate. VBR takes up less space, but can cause some problems. CBR (almost) never causes problems, but is usually larger in size. I personally prefer CBR over VBR, but there are others that will disagree with me on it. I don't like my MP3 any less than 320kps off of a good source and encoder. There is no reason to sacrifice audio for the sake of space (well, not where music is concerned atleast). You will see about a 20MB difference between a CBR and VBR encode of a soundtrack on average.

Thanks for the info, i have always wondered what the difference was. I usually just download the bigger file thinking that it might be better quality. I was kinda right.

Ah....could anyone with a high quality rip(320kbps), convert theirs to 160(kbps) and tell any noticable differences?

you will always hear a difference if you cut the bitrate in half. The sound of a 320 will be much deeper, I don't know how else to put it. Re-converting will also produce an .mp3 that is inferior to a 160Kbps .mp3 ripped straight from the .wav file. But it's not horrible or anything.
