Where would the fun be if there are no serious obstacles? The continous process of establish-problem-rebuild strengthen all objects (ep. human) in this universe ;) . What is important is to believe that you can get to the other side of the obstacle, then work towards that goal. AS has so far succeeded in doing so, and I see no reason of why it would fail in the future.

Around this time (two years ago) I remember using DC for my downloads and there was talk of this "new" way of finding anime using BitTorrent. A month after Boxing Day, I downloaded my first torrent and then found and joined the forum a few days after (on 29th Jan). Life's been downhill since then :)

Thanks to GHDpro for thinking of and creating such a great site. Sheesh, two years....

Before animesuki it was IRC to get fansubs, everyone knows that that can get frustrating from time to time, even after finding BT it did take a little while before I discovered animesuki and joined the forum somewhere around june/july 2003 only to rejoin in november '03 :D

Anyway a big thank you to all the staff and people working on the site and forum and a happy birthday :)

Whaa!! It's been two years already! I remember using WinMX to get my anime until I found out about this site ( and BitTorrent at the same time ^^; ). I discovered the forums to search for a download problem and since then ( April 17th 2003 ), I've become a forum-addicted :heh: ( if you don't count the past two months :p )

2 years, has it really been that long?
Huh great going there GHDpro keeping this page upp for two years (despite all the difficulties this page has run into during the years). Ofcourse no page could be keept for this long without a fine and capable crew.
Well It's been one hellofa ride and I hope it wont stop yet.

Ah, two years... where has my life gone.

It's been a fun, bumpy, ride so far and I hope it will continue to be so for many years yet. I can't really top GHDpro's history "speech", or xris and Hellychan's reminiscing; so I'm just going to add my personal thanks to a few staff members: Particularly to the mostly-unsung JustAnotherFan and to NoSanninWa; the two of us who I think put most effort into making sure the torrents are on our site quickly. No torrents, no site. Oh, I'm sure we could manage without them but I know I for one would probably never see the light of day :p; so many thanks to them.

Lastly, I'd just like to add a quick thankyou to the fansub community, especially the fansub groups themselves (even the troublesome ones ;))... again no torrents, no site. Thanks for supporting us and continuing your great work that allows us to compile these lists.

Anyway; Happy Birthday AnimeSuki, I hope the next year is good one!

It was one hell of a ride so far with both good and bad moments. Thank you Animesuki for "ruining" our lives with that little thing we know as Anime and may you "ruin" them for the many years that are to come :)

I only just started coming to Animesuki, but its since become my one stop shop for everything anime, congratulations on hitting the 2 year mark, you people have earned it.

I only missed being a 2 year veteran by 5 months. :( Oh well, it's still cool and I absolutely love this site! What amazes me is how popular it go so quickly! hehe.
