The theme of the film is the love between parents and children. The story covers 13 years and begins with a 19-year-old college student named Hana who encounters and falls in "fairy tale-like" love with a "wolf man." After marrying the wolf man, Hana gives birth and raises two wolf children — an older sister named Yuki ("snow") who was born on a snowy day, and a younger brother named Ame ("rain") who was born on a rainy day.

The four quietly lived in a corner of a city to conceal the fact that the children are "wolf children." However, when the wolf man suddenly dies, Hana decides to move to a rural town far removed from the city.

Looking at the staff list is enough to tell this movie will be a must watch.

Yep, this is definite must watch for me too. Looks like it will be more of the "Girl Who Leapt Through Time" type than the "Summer Wars" type.

Hosoda, Sadamoto and Madhouse.

That is all I needed to know. Here is my money.

I'm watching it. This is the most instant "DO WANT" reaction to an upcoming anime announcement I've had in a while.

Hosoda alone was enough to make it a must-watch for me.

Wow! Can't wait to see this one.

Madhouse is only Production committee for this (bye' T_T)
The one who produced it is Studio Roadmap (Hosoda's new studios? The next Ghibli in making then)

I loved Summer Wars, and the premise for this sounds interesting, so I'll watch it!:D

Yup, Hosoda and Sadamoto teaming again would be a must-see, no matter what you said after that. Interesting concept anyway, though. Sadamoto's cred speaks for itself, and Hosoda and Shinkai are by far the two most important anime directors of their generation.

The synopsis isn't all that exciting. Then I read who's working on this movie and now I'm excited. Can't wait to see the first trailer.

I do think the synopsis is awesome though. Its about hot chick raising her half-wolf kids! And covering 13-years of its process.
That's like the most interesting premise that I heard in years.

Imagine that on glorious Blu-Ray.

Actually, that small image is enough to prove that the visuals on this project will be stunning.
The plot is interesting, and like Summer Wars, it will probably take our hearts on a ride.

This has a huge sign screaming WIN on it....

If only the central theme weren't something that I completely cannot identify with...

Sad, considering I loved Summer Wars...

Definitely on my watch list, just for the visual alone.
