I can't believe there is no thread for this. I was wondering if anybody buying this game this week. Finally a game I been waiting for.

Solid Snake's final mission, this is going to be epic! I haven't played the PS3 since playing Grand Theft Auto IV a while ago but this is the game that I have been anticipating since I bought my Playstation 3. Thursday is the day.

It's gonna be one hell of a game! I'm getting the NA Limited Edition since the normal boxart (see above) just doesn't resonate with me on this one.

Love the MGS series.

OMG ....I can't wait for this game

I've *never* enjoyed this series, but I'm thinking about checking it out for the hype alone.

I guess you guys here aren't fazed about the massive hour+ long cutscenes and the such :O

Nope. It's Metal Gear Solid.

If you're a fan of the series, then you'd understand that part of what makes the series great is the cutscenes. Even today, I still haven't seen an ending that could top the ending of MGS3. A pity that MGS3 sold less than its predecessor.

As for the install times... well, that sucks indeed. However, people are blowing it out of proportion.

HK and TW had broken their street date and start selling the game as of today.

I will only be recieving my initial stock of 60 pieces GMT 120608 0030+0800 HRS.

That's funny because when I get this game I can't play it for two weeks because of exams.

I will be getting both the Japanese and English release for MGO, if only to see how the online crowd differs in Japan and US.

You can't access a Japanese server? In Armored Core 4, people were able to. They had their asses handed to them.

I'll be getting the PS3 bundle. I've been holding out until the release of MGS4 to get a console. Now I can spend that wad of money... in two days. About online, will every different release of MGS4, including the PS3 bundle, have the MGO starter pack?
