Sekaiichi Hatsukoi
I know BL series hardly ever get discussed on Animesuki, but there's no harm in creating the thread anyway.
Actually, the first episode was good enough for me to feel like posting a few comments on it. It was very surprising, too, even more so if you were expecting something like Junjou Romantica 3 (I admit I was). Spoiler for Episode 1:
Oh, Kita Shuuhei. I feel sort of sorry for what's happened to your career. One good tie-up with Persona -Trinity Soul-, then your producers only let you sing for fangirl fodder (the previous one being Miracle Train)? :heh: Ah well, at least the song's fun. But it still won't sell. *shrug* |
This should be in current series. Anyways, I like ep 1 a lot. Love the characters. Cracked up at the kiss. I hope this will be a long BL, not a 13 ep.

Is there any censorship ?

I find the main character really human. I mean, I was afraid he would turned emo every 5 minutes and blushing all over but no.
I'm glad he didn't. And he quite funny, also. A nice addition to the Maiden crew. |

It's the first time I've ever watched a BL anime, and I find it really great.
So great I downloaded and read the manga, and I have to say I can't wait for what's next! |
This wasn't bad at all.
It looks like there will be a very predictable progression, though. So far I'd say that the show hasn't done anything to turn me away at all, but it hasn't really drawn me in either. I'll definitely give it a couple of more episodes though, looks like it could be fun. |
This episode was pretty good. It actually made me laugh out loud a few times.
It's sad that a lot of people will overlook this series and say that it's "just another BL show". |
just seen the first episode and i actually enjoyed it
the transformation of the maiden club was hilarious i really feel sorry for the main character:heh: |
Onodera Ritsu is an interesting character and the fact he's an uke makes it all the more fun. XD The BL moments were nice, too. Too bad I can't help but to compare it to Junjou Romantica (did you see Usami's refreces?)
I'm definiely watching this. :D |

Finally got around to watching this. I'll probably finish it no matter what as BL series seem to come around once in a blue moon. I read the first two chapters of the manga a long time ago and vaguely remember it.
I really love Ritsu's character. 'Jaded cynic' is right. He is definitely different from Misaki (Junjou Romantica) which is a nice change. Also, what was he holding in episode one when we saw him at the bathroom sink after he had heard the editors talking about him? It looks like a bag of water but I can't figure out why you would carry something like that. Takano is amusing (especially his rant about shoujo manga) but he didn't do much in episode one. He and Ritsu make an interesting duo, though. Unfortunately, a lot of the manga related humor in the manga doesn't carry over so well into the anime. But if I get new jokes I'm just fine with it :) |

3 days till episode 3. I like this series so far. Besides the BL, it kind of shows what the process of making shoujo manga is like. (Although, I'm not sure if the pink decor thing is that accurate.) Still, love it. :>

With episode 2 this show really came together for me. At first I thought what happened in the OVA was all a fantasy, which annoyed me. But there having this past relationship and meeting many years later is really interesting. Scenes in the credits makes it look like there is going to be more than one couple, just like JR.

I had to watch ep2 before I was sure, but really: this is a good show. The voice acting is good. The look is perfect. The shoujo manga publishing world is enjoyable to experience. And the relationship is getting more and more interesting.
I can readily imagine our shy protagonist being put off by a mere smile. The next-door neighbor business is hard to believe but works in the context of a manga romance. Bring on ep3. |
