& yeah i was also hoping the ED would change. It probably won't at this rate..

I'm hoping the ED stays the same. Hinagiku rocks and that ED is one of the top of all time. :)

I agree with serenade_beta, the episode wasn't the best, but I enjoyed the part with the grandmother.

It's definitely going to change at some point, along with the OP, since they've already sent out the CD solicitations for late-August/early-September. I guess it either wasn't ready yet, or they're waiting for a particular moment to do the switch.

Decent episode. I forgot how stupidly funny the Isumi family is.

And Hayate must have spider senses or something.

J.C.STAFF isn't working on 9001 shows like last season, so there's no reason for them to be late AGAIN. Needs my KOTOKO fix (not kotoko).

You know, when I saw the results of the popularity contest in the anime (I knew them from the mangas before), I thought "oh wow, serenade_beta will absolutely love that" ^_^

the popularity contest addition was an awesome touch, it only makes me want to get Athena's arc animated even more badly

About the new ED, the song in Episode 14 Preview [whick I think will be the next ED] is sang by Hinagiku seiyuu. I think that we'll have another Hina-themed ED.

Well at least Maria is in second, all me to add one more vote onto her 1800 :rolleyes:

So an episode focused on Isumi and a glimpse of her family, who all make Isumi seem like a normal girl. So you can see where the genes come from but lets hope Isumi doesn't grow up to be like her mother and grand mothers.

It was a fun episode, indeed. As for Hinagiku blowing everyone away in the poll votes with more than twice the number of votes as the second play person, it just goes to show how insanely popular she is compared to anyone else in the show.

I totally understand why the author would focus on a Hinagiku ending with the story. She would have a riot on her hands otherwise.

Maria is just never developed enough in the romance department to be a true contender, no matter how much I love her character.

The thing that surprised me is that Nagi came in third. From what I sense from the forum posters, I would have thought she would have been much lower in ranking. I guess being the main heroine does gain so points.

This was a nice, fun episode. Izumi is fun to show once in a while, but I really can't see how they can develop her character anymore or create a long arc focus on her. She does not have room to expand her storyline.

As for the Hinagiku ending, I wouldn't mind another one, and I am sure many in Japan wouldn't mind either.

The song playing was from Hinagiku's new character single, it's been confirmed that the new ending is by Hayate and Nagi. I personally wouldn't mind another Hinagiku ending, since KugiRie can't sing to save her life, even if it was edited.

4000+ votes....Maria in a distant 2nd with 1800. That's Hinagiku for you, popular in and out of the series.

I believe it has been announced that the next ending will be sung by Hayate's and Nagi's Seiyuu, Ryoko Shiraishi and Kugimiya Rie. So I suppose it'll be all about Hayate/Nagi.

For some reason, Isumi and her mother are in my top characters list for Hayate. They have a unique charm about them.

The next episode or two will contain some great Ayumu moments, I will repeat again that if it were not for Hinagiku in this series, shed definatly would be my favorite female character.

The "mysterious girl" cracking the top 5 isnt that surprising, however, I dont think anyone will ever ursurp Hinagiku from that #1 spot. She comes in way late in the manga, and sshe doessnt stand a shot of making the show for another................. 25+ episodes? I forget, I know they are on v12 right now, so itll be awhile anywho.
