Well guess ill start with my predictions as always.
1.Katsura is the first to see the tape of Otome and Makoto getting their nookie on.
2.Makoto continues to whore around with Sekai and everyone now assumes they are a couple.
3. Katsura is even more depressed after the events with Taisuke and she is not sure what she should do. My guess is she will try to talk with Makoto about it only to be blown off.
4. Taisuke will let it slip that he had sex with Katsura (possibley near the end of the episode)
5. This is a long shot but i have a gut feeling (Makoto has some type of realization during this episode, it may be a small one but something with happen in that pea sized brain of his)
6. Taisuke being the simplton he is will go about his normal life like everything is great and tries to approach Katsura again and possibly asking her to be his girlfriend while reinforcing that Makoto has abandoned her.
7. Katsura actually blames her self for what happend with Taisuke and conviences her self that Makoto strayed because of her weakness and she starts thinking of ways to get him back. Maybe setting up for them to have sex in episode 11.
Well those are my predictions let the agony continue.

Yes this is the way which fits the plot. But I'm not sure Katsura would try to bring Makoto back to her, maybe she would just try to understand but the reality could be too hard to stand on and she would be too weak in her mind to try something to regain Makoto's love (well, if we can speak about love then....). Maybe it's the beginning of the bad ending......

In any case, looks like it was quite an eventful episode. And at least I liked Setsuna...wow, considering she's closer to Sekai than Sekai was to Kotonoha, maybe she's an even worse backstabber than her.

AWESOME ending for this episode... the scene with Kotonoha on the bridge was SOO tense, and the final scene with Setsuna at the airport was done well too...
5 second summary -
Makoto breaks it off clearly with Kotonoha, Makoto gets another girl under his belt, the tape is released and Sekai finds out, Kotonoha stares at some knives and goes looking for Setsuna and Makoto, Setsuna leaves for France.
Sweet episode, especially the later half. Kotonoha -- kill them all and don't look back, then fly to France to finish off Setsuna.

Well even though Taisuke did not die a horrible death (yet:heh: At least I hope). I can be somewhat satiesfied in the fact Koto ignored him and he did not appear for the rest of the show and he will not have a relationship with Koto because well you all know why. And suprising me Koto looked calm here http://randomc.animeblogger.net/imag...Large%2003.jpg Thought she look more I don't know what but that was not the expresion one would imagine after what just happened.

Wow, Setsuna was the last character I had any respect for in this show, and now they have blown that up as well. All that's left is for Koto to go on a killing spree, I can only hope.

While i am hoping for a happy ending for Koto (well written one) I am pretty sure we won't get that.

HOLY CRAP this is not a high school its so deranged govornment project to see how much a normal person can take before they snap. Im just going to blow up the school and kill everyone but Koto to ease my own pain. This anime is not going to end well. For anyone who still has hope do your self a favor and just abandon it now it will save you therapist bill in the future

Well the anime has been setting up Kotonoha to completely break at anytime, i don't think we'll get the ending you want.

Wow. I am not disappointed in the Setsuna aspect, and I still really respect her charecter. I think she is noble to sacrafice herself like that to save her friend's loyalty. I really liked that Kotonoha is looking at those knifes. There is DEFINATELY meaning to that, and I know of only one situation where a knife and Kotonoha is involved.
The next episodes title is most certainly something that gets me. My guess is that it is meant to throw predictions off. I think Makoto will repent and go to Sekai alone, realizing that he is NOT Everyone's Makoto.
And Setsuna is playing a large roll. "I'm the wife" ending seems like a good possibility.

Agreed!!!!!!!!!! At this point she doesnt need to think small. Screw the knives screw the needles. Go out with a bang a shotgun and M-16 and couple claymore mines to catch the ones fleeing from school should do the trick

I can't say I feel any sympathy for any of them at the moment, though I dislike some characters more than others. I'm really disappointed in Setsuna, I thought she was smart. I was getting a little tired of Koto because even if I pitied her, I found her to be very silly, clingy and in denial, but I did think highly of Setsuna. I still feel sorry for the way things have gone for her though, I can't really hate someone for being weak and silly. Ah well...
That said, it's still an interesting story, nevertheless...

The story is interesting and when people invest a lot of their feelings in a show, they are bound to get emotional over it (some more than others). Honestly Katsura has been pushed to brink of a mental breakdown. Look at how much has happen in a short amount of time. Most of us have people we could talk to and get these feelings off our chest before they fester into suicidal or homicidal tendencies. Katsura has no one to talk she is all alone and the person who she thought she trust most in the world has betrayed her numerous times with every girl he can get his hands on.
Even if Katsura were to survive to the end without doing something drastic. How many years do you think it will take to reverse the damage that imposed on her? This is not a quick fix and I can say for sure that if this were real she would have a server distrust or hatered of men

A tragic ending is likely, but it's sure to include Kotonoha in the tragedy no matter what, in whatever way.

Or perhaps a bittersweet one. Use the "Bloody Ending" ending and combine it with "I'm the wife", and it becomes bittersweet.
Something tells me that Otome may get killed by the end. Taisuke in my opinion is not going to get what he deserves.

I really hope he does. He's easily the worst, in my opinion.

I hope he does too, but I just cannot see it happening. I see Sekai's death very likely, Otome's fairly likely, and Setsuna's as impossible. I do not think Makoto is going to die, unfortunately.

If you look at the screen caps 10th row down the first one in that row. Nanami(short haird tomboy chick) is crying while looking at the screen where she is kneeling in front of her boyfriend(lucky guy:D). I want to know why the hell she is crying?

I wasn't expecting Setsuna to make such an idiotic move like that... She's the one with the most common sense and yet all of it flew out the window in a split second. That doesn't make any sense, they just ruined a perfectly good character.

Taisuke did have sex with kotonoha. After that, Kotonoha watched Sekai and Makoto dancing, and she is crushed, crying
Kotonoha meets Makoto in the train, and he apologizes he wasn't there. He mentions that she was waiting for him. She is surprised and wonder how he knows about this, and he answers that Otome (almost saying otome instead of Katou) told him. Kotonoha is okay, and blushes.
Taisuke is really happy during the cleaning after the festival. Everyone wonder what it is with him. He leaves, and Hikari, Sekai and Makoto are talking about uniform etc. As they are talking, Hikari is fed up with their lovey dovey attitude, and "understand the folklore dance couple". Both are embarassed while Setsuna stares at them from afar.
Taisuke wants to take an opportunity with Kotonoha, and offer her a dinner for christmas. But Kotonoha still claim she is makoto's lover, and say it won't change, whatever he will do.
Taisuke confronts makoto, asking what is the meaning of this. Taisuke thinks he is cheating sekai, but Makoto confirms there isn't anything between him and kotonoha anymore. Taisuke concludes she hates him, and laments what he has done.
Kotonoha is carrying bunch of wooden logs and bamboo. Bullies are picking on her about yesterday. Otome is behind with her cellphone, and doesn't pick on Kotonoha, but stays silent. Kotonoha has her hostile mode, says she knows otome loves makoto, but claims again she is makoto's girlfriend, which makes otome looking down, saying "is that so". As she is leaving, a bully make her trip, and they are making fun of her, while Otome looks at her silently.
Makoto is throwing the trash bags with the rest, but receives a message. Setsuna asks him to not slack off. Setsuna confronts if it is a message from kotonoha, but Makoto says it is not this. setsuna keep confronting about him and Kotonoha, but Makoto fnally say there isn't anything between them anymore, and didn't meet her yesterday.
Setsuna is relieve, and asks him to make the promise to look only to sekai. Setsuna comments she doesn't have much time. Makoto asks if he told this to Sekai, but she didn't. After some chat, Makoto pats her head, confirming there isn't anything between them
Kotonoha arrives, really charged with lots of stuff. Makoto tries to help her, but Setsuna tries to stop him. She then lets him doing so.
Kotonoha asks him if he is free tomorrow, but Setsuna stops them, saying he has an appointement with her. Makoto awkwardly confirms this. Kotonoha suggests another day. Makoto decides to say there isn't anything they can do in their relationship. Kotonoha is in denial, and says it is a lie. Then she concludes it is because of setsuna, who is acting as a spy for sekai. However; setsuna says sekai isn't related to this. Then kotonoha wonders if it is okay with her and her feelings.
Makoto wonders what's up with this, and Kotonoha is explaining that yesterday, while he was asleep, she...
However, while she is explaining this, Setsuna grabs makoto and kiss him. After that, Setsuna asks her "so then?" She shows it didn't have anything to do with her nor sekai. Kotonoha is in shock, and says it is a lie, because this morning, Makoto was like usual. But makoto says he broke up with her this morning. Kotonoha collapses. Makoto hesitate to talks, then says he doesn't love kotonoha. He violently stops Setsuna's arm hug, and walks off.
Spoiler for PART B:
At school, late in the afternoon/dusk, Kotonoha is cleaning something (face not visible). Sekai calls makoto with her cellphone, but she can't join him. Nanami joins her and they talk a bit, for something tomorrow. Sekai asks setsuna if she will join them. Sad, she replies she can't. Sekai is about to go to her baito, and setsuna is surprised about this. Sekai explains she doesn't find makoto anywhere. Setsuna will look for him.
Makoto and Otome were in the gym storage, dressing up. (you know the drill) Otome asks about what happened recently, and he thinks about sekai's kiss during the dance, setsuna's kiss, and kotonoha collapsing. Otome is worried she isn't good for him, but makoto is relieving her, by taking her hand. Otome then says she doesn't mind if she isn't his lover, as she was treated like a boy by him before, so she is happy with this. Makoto then kisses her. and they are doing it again. Setsuna is outside and heard them.
At her house, Kotonoha is in the kitchen, and let the tap open. Kokoro is awake, and ask what she is doing, but kotonoha doesn't answer. (we see a zoom on some kitchen knives)
Setsuna is in her bath, and is resolute.
Setsuna calls makoto late at night, and asks if she can't come. Makoto says of course, considering he is now awake. Setsuna came with her luggage. She then asks what he was doing during this night. Makoto is struck, but says it isn't related to Setsuna. She mutters than "and yet, i asked for Sekai's sake..." Makoto says he doesn't dislike Sekai, but cannot express himself clearly. Setsuna knows what he has done. But setsuna says she won't say it. Makoto is surprised as she will keep it as a secret and wonders why she is doing to this extent. Setsuna answers it is for Sekai's sake. Makoto begins to tease her, saying she is in love with him, and Setsuna tries to deny it, but makoto surprises her, saying he doesn't dislike her. He then comments he felt her feelings with this kiss. Setsuna tries to cut him off but, he forcefully kisses her. However, setsuna stops him with a shocking line, about Otome and Kotonoha. She is crying, and begins to undress herself, saying for this promise, she will do anything, ANYTHING. Makoto is dumbstruck, and bears a "sad look", saying " I..."
Sekai and Nanami are in the projection rom, teasing each other about boyfriend stuff etc. Otome enters but notices Sekai, and bears a sad look. The girls of the club has recorded the lounge, and Otome is surprised of this.
Nanami screams and collapses, has her sexual intercourse is shown. Girls in the room are enjoying, while nanami is crying. Sekai tries to comfort her, asking her if they shouldn't go home. and here is the drama : it is now Otome and Makoto turns, sekai can't believe this.
Sekai is in the train, angrily asking for makoto to pick the phone, while setsuna is the opposite train, leaving for France, with regrets.
Kotonoha and Sekai meet on the bridge. Kotonoha is in WRECK.
after the ED, setsuna is in the airport. Makoto is there as well, looking for her, but setsuna ignores her. Setsuna remembers of a past even. The class has a seat change, Setsuna and Sekai are comparing their numbers, and Sekai realizes that setsuna got the number next to makoto. Sekai asked if they can swap, and blushes. Setsuna understood this, and kindly agrees. Setsuna let a tear, and say "farewell".
okay okay... this episode is a complete mess.
the end was excellent in the execution, but that's IT.
they mixed too much things, and they dragged so much stuff that the look of it will be so ugly next week. actually they are like mergind 3-4 ends in the same time.... sillyness...

Makoto would probably feel terrible enough anyway. I don't care what Kotonoha does to the girls, but I do want Taisuke gone. :heh:

Because she did it so that Makoto would stop cheating on her with Otome. She had split him up from Kotonoha, and she was leaving extremely soon. He would have nobody to cheat with at that point, he'd just have Sekai.
Ooh, different thought. What if that is what he does, and then when he goes back to Sekai, she completely rejects him for the video? This leads to a breakdown on his part, and Everybody's Makoto does mean that ending?

Actually i think Makoto's wake up call is coming i think if he knew how bad things were he would feel terrible. Everything is going to hit him all at once and hes going to realize that the world might be better if he just launched him self in Tokyo Bay attached to rock.

In my opinion, I think so. It's an ironic twist on it, but I can definately see it. I haven't seen the episode, just the summary, so I'll say more when I see it for real.

Agreed entirely. I did respect her before this episode, though...I thought she was far smarter/caring than this.

I agree with you in a way its sadistic. Look at this way she gets her bang with Makoto but she knows she cant keep him because she has to leave. So what does she do well since she cant have him well i'll make sure my bestfriend has him instead. In other words live through Sekai in a way. Sekai is the most important person in Setsuna's life and leaving the other most important person would make sense to her. It was like killing 2 birds with one stone she gets to sleep with Makoto making another memory for her self and she gets Otome out of Makotos life. I think it was planned plain and simple, she not as innocent as everyone thinks

i disagree a lot. Setsuna finds out that Makoto is obsessed with only one thing.
So that's why she offered herself, saying "if i must do that for this promise, i will dot it".
Setsuna is perfectly genuine to make him protect sekai. Even in the end, when she was in the airport, she clearly had many regrets for sekai, as she wanted to stay with her.
There is NO, ABOLUTELY NO PROOF they did it. NOPE
Makoto stops himself, saying "I...", demonstrating he doesn't know what he wants know. this is messed up, and she had to go through this to make him realize of the mess. she was about to do it for Sekai, not for herself. Otherwise, she would let him doing his stuff.

The Setsuna bashing is quite interesting :)
Obviously what she did is not the best course of action, but her reasons are quite far from being selfish. Basically she allowed Makoto to do what he wants with her, if he promises to break up with Otome. Whether she loves him or not, Setsuna is always putting Sekai before her, and i don't think this has anything to do with her having to go to France. No, i don't think she would actively gun for Makoto even if she could stay. Not saying she doesn't get anything out of the deal (because she obviously loves Makoto herself), but i highly doubt she ever thought of acting against Sekai's interests. That, and there is not a 100% indication they have actually done it.
That said, i would largely prefer Setsuna x Makoto over anything else - their history predates Sekai, and she actually has what it takes to keep Makoto on leash if she wants to :)
Oh, and one more thing - i would like to see people stop mentioning various game endings in this thread, before i get hostile ;)
