So this is their second attempt at gaining the rights to these two titles, and they seem pretty confident about it.

just some good news for people

posted it in a new thread since nobody seemed to notice this in the ever17 thread

It won't exactly be news until an agreement with Cyberfront has been reached. At any rate, Hirameki's biggest challenge will be to cope with an absence of upcoming releases (since they're still paying employees with little money flowing in).

Right now Hirameki really is looking for something to hold them over till they can get some new titles out.

On the bright side, the company isn't in too bad of a shape right now. Nonetheless, they need to generate some revenue in the meantime.

yeah i already knew it'd be something for 2008 or 2009

ApathyEcstasy 2007-07-12 00:22

just remembered to add that it's NEWS to me because i had no idea hirameki had the money or even the DESIRE to get the rights to those two games

Ah Remember11. One of the best psychological thrillers out there, and also one of those games that will just severely tick you off (play it and you'll know why). I still remember how excited I was after playing Ever17 and then watching the Remember11 OP. It was the first game I felt was actually worth braving through with a dictionary back when I knew no Japanese at all, and it was well worth the effort....

I think I must have spent a week after trying to figure everything out, but to this day... Still no luck

Yeah, I had read this on VN's forums. Were all eager to see those titles here. I hope an agreement can be reached.

I still have a copy of the neogeo pocket version in the series somewhere, I think it was called infinity cure. I think you could link to the dreamcast version of Never 7, but I'm not sure. I still have the dreamcast version somewhere its unopened too.

info on infinity cure please?

Goddamn you, I had a goddamned heart attack when I saw this topic up.

Unfortunately, no, not yet.

Elvin 2008-04-11 19:55

I also did not appreciate the glimmer of hope >:O

With Hirameki deceased and no replacement in sight, we'll have to rely on fan translations. No one's up for the challenge yet so don't expect anything before 2010

Rayneing 2008-04-11 20:06

Actually, now that I remember, there are some people actually. Some guy was willing to translate, and another person was building tools to extract the script from the Infinity Plus version. However, they hit a snag. If anyone knows how to work with that kind of stuff, they should give that topic a look.

Elvin 2008-04-11 20:23

Darn, another glimmer of hope. Makes me wish I took programming more seriously.

Same here. Threadomancy ftl. >:O

Taler 2008-04-11 23:43

Oh come on, it's just how the internet works. I googled english Remember11 and the first thing I saw was this thread.

Chewy 2008-04-12 08:23

Are people interested in seeing a video demo for R11 (from start to first transfer) ? I don't mind TLing it, but someone else has to be provide the raw and timing.

OverFunk 2008-04-12 15:17

I was just about to shed a tear of happiness. A tear of sadness came out instead.

Featherine B. 2008-04-12 15:51

Holy s***, I nearly had a heart attack after seeing the name of that thread. It should really be renamed, otherwise I think people are going to be extremely disappointed :uhoh:

brocko 2008-04-12 21:50

^ hahah agreed and seconded, talk about massive false hope :heh:

VDZ 2008-09-08 11:02

Sorry if I'm causing a couple more heart attacks by posting this, but a translation for Remember11 is underway: http://www.tsukuru.info/tlwiki/index...ge_of_infinity
They already translated the prologue and half of the first day of the Kokoro Chapter (whatever that is - I haven't played it yet). Anyways, they could still use some more help.
