This thread is for those of you with questions about the Kyoukai Senjou no Horizon anime or manga. There are many questions that don't need a whole thread to discuss them. Q. How much personality/memories transfer form a human to a doll?

jwai 2011-11-05 05:38

What's the deal with people saying 'Judge' or 'Tes' all the time?

Icy.Tear 2011-11-05 06:17

Jud.: "If you're late, I might have you do the early morning classroom clean up. --And, your response? Jud.?"
"--Jud."
In answer, everyone returned these words which carried the meaning of 'understood'.

You can think of them as slangs.

Q: What was left on a half-neutered guy?
A: Tes

Besides what mentioned above, Jud and Tes is the same, but the former is exclusively used by Far Easterners while other countries used the latter.

Is there a point to the Testament Union conducting the historical reenactment (albeit with highly advanced weaponry)? It's quite an odd way to settle what is essentially a dispute over land.

Does Toori have any skills outside of being a complete moron?

The historical reenactments are more towards re-tracing their steps to figuring out how their ancestors 'Ascended into Heaven'.

Yes.

That's about all that can be said without spoiling.

Have the records or technology been lost regarding how they first got into outer space?

Something like that; this is in the time scale of thousands of years I believe.

IIRC In episode 5, Motonobu said that he put Horizon's Soul into automaton and then injecting/adding? 'Jealousy' into it and *BAM* we got the ninth Daizai Busou P-01s a.k.a Horizon Ariadust

is that mean he didn't actually split her soul into 9 pieces? but kept it intact while leaving 'jealousy' and spread the other eights into 8 different weapons?

'Ascended into Heaven', it might be tomorrow, it might be next year, it might be 1000years later, or it might not even happen. The text didn't mention. It might be just a false promise just to make people to believe.
So far, The historical reenactments save Far east from the conquer of the world.Sometimes I even wonder, does this historical reenactments happen after the war,not before it?

Morisato 2011-11-12 04:01

Is there something preventing them from going into outer space? Cause the technology being displayed is far, far more advanced than mere space travel. Some people even have reality warping weapons? They're like god-like beings. Slicing Dragonfly and Muneshige's weapons defy physics.

This is a question for episode five of the anime:

Why did Masazumi knocked Torii unconscious when the latter was about or attempting to shout Horizon's name in front of P-01? What would have happened if Tori did?

It should have been covered in the episode 5 topic, multiple people asked about it. Pretty much the lead grunt guy was getting annoyed and was going to have Tori killed. Tori might be the big shot on Musashi but as far as the Testament Union is concerned he's nothing special, they can find a replacement for him.

According to page 527 of volume 1-A. It mentioned not only what Xacual stated, but if Toori continued the words he was gonna say and extricate himself from being restrained, he would have been wounded, and it will become a concrete evidence --an evidence that shows Far East's objection towards Testament Union's decision, thus she saved both Toori and the Far East.

Mind, even Masazumi isn't sure if she made the right decision. However, Toori's action would have save or benefit no one either way.

Question:

If the Far East is not allowed to hold a weapon of Deadly Sin. Then what is the Dragonfly Cutter Spear thing classified as? It seems to fight on par with that sword~ish of Muneshige, if not more advantage in close range (Did i miss something? Other than the long range deadly beam, the sword provides almost 0 melee advantage)

It's considered a Divine weapon. The only reason Tadakatsu fought on par with Muneshige was because of all his experience.

So the Divine weapons are a level lower than the Deadly Sin? Is there a certain number of Divine weapons? Or they simply are rare, but will pop up from time to time?

I still do not understand the power of that sword through. It can shoot long beam and almost unblockable. But is the accelerator part of its features? Or it's Muneshige's own armour + special ability?
