Despite the fact that Fukada is a bitch like everyone else say she is, it can't be helped. I feel for the main dude having to put up with the physical and verbal abuse from her, but as most seinen mangas there's a person or two that often act as foils for the main character.

Fukada is I'm sure just protecting her friend from a bad influence and trying to prevent her from getting hurt. The main dude did screw up a couple of times due to the fact like most male protagonist; he's dense and can't read situations better. Hence why she's acting cold and a bully towards him.
