Animation: 2/5
The animation for the entire episodes was poorly drawn, it was very obvious.
Also there's a lot of still frame. Also whoever draw Annie deserve a sack...it was poorly drawn as well.
Animation quality was back to Episode 1 level when the colossal Titan appears.

Music: 4/5
Great but pale in comparison to Episode 1 to 3

Overall: 7/10
Can't wait for Episode 5....EPIC starts from Episode 5 but very worried on the animation quality given what i see in Episode 4.

Highlight of Episode 4:
Sasha aka Potato Girl running down the wall / Eren confronting the colossal Titan at the end

The animation is way better this week than it was last week honestly. It's actually on model most of the time. Maybe you just don't like how Annie looks in the anime? :D

I hope people LOOOOOOVED that crappy song from ep3, because you're going to get another song this week! :P

Overall I liked the episode a lot, especially at the end. But boy, the lipstick on the girls are getting really distracting. Ruins all the close-ups. :(

Dynamic tag cannot be rendered. (PrintableThread) I almost thought they had another time skip because they looked different, but in the other scenes, it doesn't seem there was one.
There wasn't, right?

And that weird song that plays occasionally... Reminds me of that robot anime with BETAs, in a bad meaning.


And the big giant is just so full of mysteries, I'm not sure how to react. I mean, he just... appears all of a sudden. Why now of all times? Just because the development wants him to? Or is there a deeper(?) meaning? I'd say the giant exists just to ruin Eren's hopes, but it's not like Eren was that hopeful the first time he appeared.

Oh, and Hiroshi was alive? :heh:

And the real deal starts next episode. Next week can't come sooner, I want moar spiderman sakuga!



@MisaoFan don't worry, you'll find a good reason to stick with this next ep.

I think they should have stuck with the training part a bit more before rushing back into the action at the end of the episode.

Wonder why that roasted titan doesn't just teleport inside the buildings instead of teleporting outside and going through the trouble to break in
Or just teleport over and over again and trample everything he teleports on.

I don't think that titan teleport. My guess is that he transform into that from a regular size giant.

You know...I'm picturing this and I can't stop laughing for some reason.

Hahem, seriously, it's to early to conclude those kind of things. Better wait for a few more episodes before speculating about this.

Woah, their effort to recruit more animators actually bear fruit. The animation in this eps was incredibly awesome and much better than the previous ep.

Oh, and the training ended in this ep? Finally we're going to get the real action

Why does Eren remind me of Hitler for some reason?

I'm really enjoying how they end the episodes. Episode 3 was good and now episode 4. Ramp up the hype traaaain. Also, we got to see Levy animated, can't wait when we get to him in who knows how long.

Oh man, I bet people thought the episode would end right when Eren said it's time for man kind's counterattack huh?
