Tsuyoshi 2011-07-26 06:56

Hmm, might be worth watching, not that I'm overly excited by yet another superhero movie tbh.

Vexx 2011-07-26 08:06

I might like to see this just to watch Tony Stark and Thor slapfight each other in their spare time.

KyuubiRocks 2011-07-26 08:07

Probably should of watched captain america first before i saw this.. lol
Can't wait for this...

Yeah, I'm actually thinking the same thing. It's something when you're more looking forward for an action movie due to its comedy aspects than the action itself :heh:

To be fair, Iron Man, Thor, and Captain America all have amazing comedy.

That's true, and it's one of the few strong points of the marvel movies. I'm finding it ironic that the comedy aspects are more interesting than the action itself in an action movie.

Added to that, since Joss Whedon (of Buffy and Firefly fame) has written and directed the film, we should expect some very good comedy matched with decent drama and some very fun action sequences.

That being said, I am excited for this film. I generally like this universe (199999? or something like that...) and most of the films have been pretty good, so I am expecting something good.

It doesn't ruin for you. Go see Captain America if you haven't already. That way you can also see the same trailer at the end on the big screen. Looks pretty awesome.

Mr Hat and Clogs 2011-07-26 23:39

Well, that video got shut down pretty quick.

I think you mean Ant-Man, and I also miss his inclusion along with Wasp...though I could be influenced by the recent Mightiest Heroes cartoon where Wasp was pretty damn cool...(Edgar Wright is set to do a live-action of Ant-Man (and Wasp?), so the character could be in an Avengers sequel)

I'd gotta agree, though... gotta love Nolan North as Ant-Man/Giant-Man from Ultimate Avengers~

While I liked the trailer, I'm unsure about how good the movie will be. I just the potential for a real lackluster product.
