(for all that matters Mami, and some of the Hanadera guys had more lines that the elder roses).

Not quite :). Kanina Shizuka is gone because she didn't show up this season.

True enough, but the poll isn't strictly based on the number of lines or appearances. While the senior Rosas had small roles, they were quite delightful in them - especially in the kendo episode where they played evil onee-samas.

I may agree with you (may not :p) but if we don't have some objective guideline it is difficult to think anything other than the people on the poll were based on the poll maker's likes and dislikes... I'm specially hurt my Mami's absence (and Arisu and Hanadera's secretary could use some love as well. No not in that way, you perverts) but aw well...

What about Nana?

Ol' stick in the mud one vote ... if I start multi-voting it will be almost all of them.

I went for Yoshino for the number of times she was a hoot ... not just the running away to hide from Eriko, but when she freaked out that Yumi was growing up before her, when she was going to go fetch Touko-chan in the last episode. I liked the Rosa Chinensis clan very much this year, but Yoshino was ... a character.

Objective guidelines, what the heck are those? :heh: More seriously, poll options of this nature are usually completely subjective and often whimsical. We may miss a particular choice because we forgot or because there isn't enough room to fit all the possible characters or whatever. The "Other" option should be used as the catchall for just that circumstance. In this case, I simply pared down the old list, and I completely forgot about Nana and Mami. Please feel free to point out exactly why they are deserving of more love.

I voted for 4, in order of preference:

- Touko
- Noriko
- Yoshino
- Shimako

I love the entire cast quite dearly, Marimite would not be the same without them there.

Favourite will have to go to Yumi, Shimako and Yoshino <3 what's not to like about them ^^

My favorites are Yoshino and Sachiko

In order I like them:

Touko - definetly my number 1, liked the whole inner struggle and how she was acting lie nothing happened. She sure has talent. And she made the plot moving and more interesting, in other words she brought a pleasant change.

Sei - she does know how to crack you up, is very carying and does have problems of her own which she learned to overcome.

Yoshino - a very straight forward one, can be mean sometimes but at least she is pretty honest as long as Rei and Eriko are not involved.

Eriko - also had cracked me up several times and is pretty understanding.

Kashiwagi - didn't like him at first but as series progressed, she became pretty likebla. He is a very carrying person and I liked how protective he seemed of Touko.

Yuuki - duno, just liked him for some reason.
