I saw the update on the Sword Art Online facebook page. I only wish they gave use a date to when they'll release it. I'm thinking Spring or Summer 2014?

I think Summer would likely be the date since I never heard any anime released only 3 months after announcement

Well at least that's one anime I know that will have a Kanae Itou role in 2014. Even if it's a particularly good one...

I hope Kajiura doesn't recycle STs again, better writing handling and that the studio will improve the animation...

First thing that came in my mind was Buddy Complex that was just announced last month.

And it was bound to happen sooner or later. Seems they kept Sawashiro Miyuki for Shinon.
I'm guessing Spring at earliest, Summer at the latest probably. Either way, it will probably air at the same time as Mahouka. The shitstorm will be glorious.

I am massively hyped for this! I really appreciated the announcement right after the special just like Relentless expected :D

Really. It's still possible that Mahouka would be 1-cour and SAO II starts in Summer . Or that SAO II start in Fall. But I doubt it. So really it would be a hard challenge.

Oh yes!!,next season of SAO, looking forward to it, I hope they don't take too long to release it, I don't know how the story and plot will go, but no matter what there should be kirito in it, even if everything else changes

There's really not much you can say about the GGO arc that wouldn't spoil something. It does have a plotline relating to the original SAO game though.
