While this series has not yet been licensed we have received a C&D from Kadokawa Pictures USA, we therefore won't be listing fansubs of this series here on AnimeSuki anymore.

Along comes Nowaki, whose name means "typhoon", an orphan working his way through life since middle school. Like the typhoon he is named for, he whirls into Hiroki's life and heart, blowing all resistance away before him.

Junjou Terrorist: As fate would have it, Miyagi (whom Hiroki is working with as assistant professor) and Shinobu, a student from his school, cross paths. Bits of pieces start to link together from the first two stories. That aside, Miyagi, who has a sad hidden past in himself involving a relationship with his teacher, is faced with Shinobu, who just says whatever is on his mind. The wheel of destiny is beginning to turn once again...

This series will follow three separate pairings, who are entwined with one another in some ways. Junjou is a big name in the BL world, hence, the high expectations and attention it receives from both English and Japanese fandom. I personally love Junjou Egoist more than the main story. :D

Junjou Romantica is a Boys Love/Yaoi show. It will be running for a length of 26 episodes. The manga had 18+/hardcore material, but it'll definitely be downplayed for more focus/humor on the cast.

When will it air? (if it hasn't already...)

First episode airs sometime on Thursday IIRC.

Sakurai back on a yaoi show, it has been a while.....

Has anyone watched the first episode already?

Just saw ep. 1. It's an almost frame-for-frame adaptation of the manga, and while it's not *quite* as explicit, it comes a good deal closer than I was expecting. :heh:

Much, much better than I expected it to be, considering I was pretty bleeeeh on the manga. A BL show I'll actually follow? No way!

Can't wait to watch this, I liked the manga~ I'm mostly looking forward to Egoist and Terrorist though, I'm not really a fan of the main couple.

I know I can't believe it. :heh: I dropped Gakuen Heaven, Sukisyo and Gravi like a stinkin bomb, but this oozes potential. Who knows, maybe I'll be grabbing tissues if this follows veeeery closely with the manga, especially the Egoist pair. :bow:

The art quality is... nice really nice. The characters really end up looking better than they originally were. And I'll join the Egoist hype too. It is much less one dimensional than the other two arcs.

I wonder if the DVDs will be uncensored. That was a pretty hilarious all-encompasing black fade on certain parts of the screen.

Yeah, like I said, more enjoyable than I expected, mostly due to the direction. The only issue was the pacing felt a little fast--but even wth that, the scene in the snow was really nicely done...

Edit: It's pretty intense from the get go, jeeez, I wasn't exspecting that.

Summary for Ep 1

Misaki walked in through the door and found Usagi being VERY CLOSE with his brother, Takahiro. It turns out in hopes to boost Misaki's grades up, Usagi became Misaki's tutor. The next day, he entered Usagi's apartment and was amazed by the sheer size of it. He then noticed a stack of books (:P ) finds out Usagi's a novelist and saw the scandalous yaoi picture on the cover. He deducted from the steamy lines that Usagi was actually writing about himself and Takahiro and pissed, he barged into the bedroom, causing Usagi to wake up moodily. Misaki threw a fit and demanded that Usagi stop taking advantage of his brother and lets loose a string of insults. Pissed off, Usagi told him he knows nothing about his side of the story and threw him on bed and wanks him off. (This, I don't get, does Usagi do this just to get even or just to savor Misaki's humiliation?)

Anyway, after that, they were talking about his results and university of his choice. Misaki said he wanted to enrol in M University to make his brother happy, as their parents had died ten years ago and his brother had taken care of him ever since. Misaki gradually improves with Usagi's help, who said he wanted to see Misaki pass because it would make Takahiro happy. They then talked about Usagi's one-sided love for Misaki's brother. Usagi assured Misaki that Takahiro knows nothing about his feelings and the content in the story was entirely made up by him. Misaki asked why Usagi won't tell him, and Usagi replied that he doesn't want to risk anything that could make Takahiro hate him, so he's content staying by his side as his best friend.

Fast forward to the day when Misaki passed with flying colors. Misaki and Usagi met up, and a comfortable banter ensued after Misaki shows him his results. It turns out that today was Takahiro's birthday, so they ended up throwing a surprise birthday party for Takahiro. Here, Takahiro had brought in with him a woman, his fiancee to be exact. Takahiro mentioned that he wanted Usagi to be the first to meet her. Usagi was clearly shaken but he congratulated them as if everything was normal. Seeing this, Misaki slammed his fist against the wall.

Misaki lied by saying he wanted to buy champagne and grabbed Usagi's hand and rushed out. Outside, Misaki started to cry and said he's sorry. Usagi doesn't know why until Misaki explained that his brother was really insensitive, Usagi had cared for him so much and said Takahiro was completely crazy for rubbing it in Usagi's face like that (even if he doesn't know.) Misaki said it's the first time he ever wanted to hit his brother. Usagi watched Misaki continue crying and then kissed him, shocking Misaki enough to make him stop crying. After that, a heartbroken Usagi leans on his shoulder and Misaki responded by saying it's okay to cry. Usagi chided him for it, and said that he has never cried in front of anybody. The scene ends with Misaki's narration about his feelings.

The next day, Misaki was up and ready for his first day in university. Usagi then comes and rumpled his hair. xD The episode ended with Misaki screaming," IDIOT USAGI!!!" as Usagi continued doing things at his own pace. xD

Faithful adaptation? Check like wow. It practically followed every manga panel. :P Animation was bleh average, what do you expect from Studio Deen? It was dialogue-heavy as expected, and overall, I give it a B+, not bad at all for a BL anime. :heh:

so long that i have never watch yaoi anime
but i heard that this series the famous one
so i will try to watch it ^_^

I agree, I thought the animation could have been a little better sometimes, but it was, overall, a good episode. And yep, this is a lot better than many other BL anime I've seen - it could have been much worse. :heh:
