Why does there seem to be so much more Pop compared to Rock groups in Japan?.:confused:

How many Anime series have a Character Album?

I was really impressed by the Sayonara Zetsubou Sensei one, especially because the songs were sung by the original cast & fitted each character well.

I found some of the tracks on Youtube, & later bought the CD.

I am curious why OP expected there to be more Rock than Pop? I do not know of any countries' single charts where this is the case.

I was wondering why there is such a small proportion of Rock in Anime, Didn't used to be that way.
All the responses are wondering why I would ask, It seems I have joined the wrong forum.
